I don't know what the hype is about, tbh. Yes, it was a good film, but not exceptionally great either.
I don't like it at all, it makes me feel bad for the joker, now we understand why he is crazy, there was a lot of violence on his way.
The movie was more a piece of art than history, all the photo is awesome, but the history wasn't than good. I wouldn't watch it again.

though i can feel your concern about why things need to happen to Him and the reason why He become that violent type pf person.
Though for me i understand the director and writer because that is what the character and attitude of joker that we use to know in Batman shows so they have no reason to make the movie Good when the true Joker live in bad nature of life.

Yes this is fantastic movie of this year i like to enjoy some clips joker flim. I want recommend everyone, if you didn't watching yet then keep do watch your free time.
I guess I'll be weird, but I like Joker from the Christopher Nolan trilogy 
One of the best movie of the year,Joker film is memorable and well Budgeted movie though it only Gets few awards but it is very recommended and worth watching.

Joker is a good film, and Joaquin plays acting with good. Although the film needs parenting for a teenager, that film is worth to watch. But I am afraid that some people who already watch the film will be obsessed with the movie.

I guess I'm one of the few people who have not watched this movie. All my friends talked about this film, but I don’t even know what this film is about. The only joker I saw was in The Dark Knight.
I liked the storyline and the acting was good enough, but something about the way the film was directed made it so you couldn’t get me to sit through it again.
Joker definitely turned out to be a strong film. The many awards he has received lately speak for themselves. Simply watch this movie and appreciate the acting performance of Joaquin Phoenix. In addition, the film has a very dense atmosphere of hopelessness and despair. In a passing movie, this would not have been possible.

Personally, I didn't like it. It is a good film if you see the social message that is given.
However, when I pressed the play button I wanted to see a villain that would kill or do harm to a big city. I didn't see that in the whole film. Instead, I was seeing a social movie than a superhero one.
Directives made by the film director alone do not have any answer.
