As we see numbers of experts which are highly experienced with expertise in Cryptocurrency field. Here you can portion of your life journey in this platform from where you start ,How much time its takes to accomplish your milestone, which strategies you used ,what was the best learning phase for you.Because it will be a real life time motivation for all newbie’s and best way to follow the footsteps of successful peoples of the platform.

I started my journey back in 2017 where I was a college student looking for an alternative way to earn money online. But after reading hundreds of posts and threads about the nature of cryptocurrencies, I realized that BTC is more than just 'money online.' It is also more than an investment since its possibilities are limitless (e.g. can be exchanged without the need for a third-party handling our transactions). This fact alone makes it so valuable that its price on the market will somehow skyrocket in the following years.

Unfortunately, I realized this potential late as I have generally withdrawn most of my BTCs and converted them to cash from the years 2017-2020 (price of BTC in the market was around $4,000-$30,000).

Each member here has different knowledge and experience, whether it's a good or bad experience. The higher the rank, the better, but here is a place to share knowledge and also experience with each other so everyone will continue to increase their knowledge and skills here, no matter whether it's a high rank or a newbie. What is certain is that with their respective strategies and skills it will affect the profits obtained. Honestly, I've been through a lot of things, the ups and downs of the crypto world are unavoidable and we must follow suit. it should be underlined here that not everything can be in line with our plans, therefore it requires skills and a good strategy. all of that will go well with the time and experience that have.

Just take  note that not all high rank members in the forum are expert, some of them have been in the forum for a very long time but that dies not make then expert. Their are also members of the forum who are sound in cryptocurrency here in the forum,  you can only know them if are an active member and you spend time to read the topics they have been giving out . This are the kind of members you can follow there footsteps.

Members with a higher forum rank are those who have earlier registered on this forum and that is all.
The mere fact that someone has been a member of this forum for a long time doesn't mean that he automatically knows more than new members.
Recently, some owners of crypto companies who have much more knowledge and experience in crypto business than old members appeared on the Croatian part of the forum and started writing.
For that part, forum rank really doesn’t mean much.

Who is a successful member?
The word success as used in this forum is relative.
A user might come with the motive of making money in the forum, within a short time he makes much money, the user is successful.
A user might want to rank up and join a certain campaign, if he succeeds, he is successful.
If a user's motive is to earn many merits, if he gets them, he is successful.
Now, I got this idea after I saw these newbie legendaries. I couldn't conclude that they are not successful.

Well let's say we look at it from the right sense of things on this forum which is to discussions and sharing of knowledge, so this user is successful on this forum one because he has made 100+ posts that have contributed to discussions and provided answers. There are so many users at various ranks that have never won a signature and are highly successful on this forum.

Its a long journey for me just to reach the Sr.Member but I did it with no hurry for earning merits in anyway so learning depends on every individual and making merits doesn't depends on knowledge only. To accomplish yourself a community member then engage into the discussions and try to contribute with more quality over quantity.

sure, understanding after spending hours & hours on platform Reading all the new threads,Then Google the unknown Phrases,it’s all about to collect the nector of knowledge from here.

You will be better now spending reading and searching here, is more effective to gain knowledge, and then if you have enough knowledge you can share it here by creating a constructive reply/thread, and then Merits and rank will be followed. The only thing I can say does not greedy to become a high-rank member cause there's a right time to achieve that.
The user who is greedy in their rank made some mistakes. A mistake that can ruin their account example is They are plagiarizing some useful text and posting it here so that they can get merits which is not good.

Well as what others mentioned in this thread, it is not all about the ranks that tells about the number of knowledge, OP. One can be Legendary, but could be just a really good trader and the one that gives trading tips around here and never get into techy stuffs.
There is no such thing as "time" that will take for one to accomplish "milestones" as everyone has their own pacing in here.
Just join the discussion around here and don't overcomplicate stuff about being "successful" in a forum.

Even though we are one of the top ranks still there's a lot of information, and knowledge we don't know still we are continuously learning more. Also, the forum is one of the foundations to get more knowledge and information next is the member who would like to get more active and keep learning always strive for more there's a lot of information that might be used to make yourself aware and exist. Use other people as inspirations and achieve your own pace and goal but of course no need to rush take your time to learn more.

How much time its takes to accomplish your milestone, which strategies you used ,what was the best learning phase for you.Because it will be a real life time motivation for all newbie’s and best way to follow the footsteps of successful peoples of the platform.

I have been a member of the forum since 2015, and I have read it since the beginning of 2014 - so if you want to learn from my example or some similar members, then be ready to invest at least 5+ years to be active every day on this forum and as a result, you may learn something or perhaps become a respected member of the community (and I’m not saying I became that, maybe I need another 5 years Wink).

On the other hand, if you are aiming for financial success, you should know that this is not a place that should be primarily for profit - but still the vast majority are most motivated by it. By the time you reach a higher rank, there may be no more signature campaigns.

Not all high-ranking accounts are experienced, especially the old accounts, which were easy to rank-up via spam.
And not everyone has specialized experiences, so whoever masters mining may not have enough technical experience, economics, investment, or trading.
You need an average knowledge of how bitcoin works, a love of work and diligence, and you will find rank-up easy.

The highest Rank in this community will be not proving that they are expert, most experienced and knowledgeable enough about Bitcoins and related cryptocurrencies. That's a mistake that we put in our mind that All high ranks are better than newbies.
As we explore and study more here in forum we encounter many user who hiding their high ranks that doing Shitpost and still spamming in order to reach their weekly quota not all but there's more.
And also we can see that there are many newbies/low rankings who knowledgeable enough in crypto and share their knowledge to us.

You are not doing enough research in this forum, we have high rank members who just got their badge because they are active here long before the merit system was implemented, we also have high rank members who are promoting scam and working with scammers, don't look on the badge look on the post history, you'll find out it's not on the badge it's on post quality.

If you received 5 merits as a gift, do you believe you can get 5 more by creating this post?

Actually, I was about to respond in the OP's thread: Bitcoin talk Merit

When he was asking:
Quote
What is the finest way to get the Merit?

My answer would have been something like: "Just create a thread in the B&H section about merit and you will get some", but I saw some reputable members considering him as genuine and already having merited him, so I didn't reply.

What I see now is the same we see several times in this section. People creating these kind of threads hoping to fish some merits. And since it usually works for them, they don't stop.

OP, this is the second thread you've created that has the same meaning.
I see your efforts, but this does not mean that any post should consist of a new open topic. If you want to achieve something on the forum, knowledge, promotion in rank, money, in the end, do it all gradually, slowly.
If you received 5 merits as a gift, do you believe you can get 5 more by creating this post?

Rank:Newbie
Merit:5

You are in a hurry again.
You came to the forum, respect its rules, learn them.
The second important point is the ability to use the search.
Look for answers before asking questions.
Once you understand the forum rules and search rules, you will no longer need to create identical topics.
But in another case, you will start to have questions that you cannot understand. And then your posts will gain value. What will you get in return?
You will receive rewards with merits, you will rise in rank, you will be able to participate in companies with payment for posts.
And along with these privileges, you will decide on a topic that will become interesting to you.

This forum was actually my first place to find out about bitcoin and crypto.
At first, I mostly read the posts of older members and tried to figure out what this was all about.
I later got to know a lot of members here, some of whom I met in person, and I can say that it means a lot to me to be able to socialize with a group of people who think similarly and have similar problems, such as paying crypto taxes.
Now I follow many crypto groups on social networks and telegram, but I'm somehow used to coming here first and looking for some useful information or asking for some advice.
Unfortunately, the quality of posts and activity on this forum has dropped a bit lately, but still everyone can find what they are looking for.
Representatives of crypto companies in Croatia sometimes publish their news on the Croatian part of the forum, and I hope that this trend will continue and that this forum will remain the main meeting place for the crypto community in Croatia.

If only you know how much crap a lot of "high ranks" post here on Bitcointalk. Mostly those who were here spamming their way up before the merit system was implemented.
There were and still many who still follows the shit posts path despite being the fact they are legendary or high rank members. The main thing is they never tried hard to acquire some knowledge and share with others because for them this forum was only source of earning and complete signature campaign requirements. They did not care to read or share something that can help others and themselves to rank up on forum. But yes merit system implementation hinders themselves to grow on forum and many left it afterwards and some still going the same way.But that's not the way you should hook up on discussion forum. The best is to exchange knowledge and write quality posts.

As for your question — people have different goals, and not everyone has the same levels of starting knowledge. Just focus on learning at your own pace; you don't need to necessarily learn faster or at the same level as most of us have.
Exactly we all have ability to learn but the speed could be different.Take example like some newbies on forum have reached enough merits to rank up to senior or hero rank members but lack the activity and some are going on with less pace. But the main thing is advancement which comes up with knowledge and learning so do your best and results will automatically come into your hands.Try to compete in healthy manner and grow up yourself.

Just use this forum as other forums you have been in, although in this one there are some particularities, especially regarding moderation.

What I see as essentially different in this forum compared to others is that you can make money on it, and that makes a lot of people worry about rank up and things like that, but I think the key to success here is that money is secondary for you. Many people end up getting caught plagiarizing or abusing in some way or another out of a desire to make a quick buck.

The best way to utilize the forum is to learn a lot here. Reading a bunch of topics like what you can see pinned in some board/sections in the homepage that would immediately be helpful to you, and that's going to be. If you are interested in conversing and creating topics without anything in return, just knowledge, then this is the right place to do that. Many people here know what they are talking about, and that would help them learn and spread knowledge as well.

It's not enough just to follow someone, and you need to know why you are here and what you are doing.
