The sailboat wallpaper looks nice too. But the hand doesn't fit very well. It's missing something. Or maybe is the wrong color or texture for that background.
I like your sailboat wallpaper, although I would never use it.
I'm quite particular when it comes to wallpaper. I like to keep all my icons on the left side with a solid black background and the artwork displayed on the right side.

Consider when It was made that wallpaper...for me it was already a well size at the time, it passed like what, 5 yrs since then?

Wallpaper 1 http://imgur.com/Q7BWMoU is too color-saturated to stare at for a longer time and thus it is not suited for a wallpaper. The symbol left looks strange to me and it looks like a quick photoshop project.

Pity that it's only 1200x900. Nice to look at but still suitable for a wallpaper if the monitor doesn't exceed HD screen resolution.
