As Inquisitr reported, those pushing the theory that Julian Assange, an alleged candidate for Time's person of the year award, is missing or even dead have cited a number of seemingly strange coincidences in the past few weeks. Those include an incident in November when WikiLeaks tweeted insurance files and SHA-256 hashes that did not match previous tweets. To put it simply, this indicated to conspiracy theorists that WikiLeaks and Julian Assange were no longer in control of the Twitter account.

But those who watched the interview noted that it had several strange points, like the fact that Assange's audio had been edited together and there were no references to current events. Regated compiled a list of all the major points cited in the conspiracy theory, including the incident of the hashes not matching and the Pilger interview.

4. If reason for the morph cuts were that Julian had to cough or clear his voice, then why did they leave it in at 01:36?
5. At 20:55 and 22:15 you can hear a screeching background noise and then suddenly you can’t. Why has the audio been cut and edited?
6. To hide a cut, a video editor can use a shot from a different camera (for example a medium close-up shot of the interviewer). How many more cuts were made?

What if the establishment arranged a hit on Assange? What if the British police 'stood down' during this time-frame to allow the operation to go forward? One might notice such oddities as the police to take two hours to respond to a 'cat burglar' at the embassy even though the police station were only a block or two away.
What if the hit team double-crossed the establishment? What if they took advantage of the police stand-down to get Assange out and on to safety?
What if, eventually, the establishment wised up and raided the embassy in a panic? Maybe we'd see (briefly) footage of police acting like disturbed ants.
What if Ecuador was a true supporter of Assange (for whatever reasons) and would do anything necessary to help the guy? Including, counterinitiative under the accepted narrative of events, 'cutting off' Assange's internet access. Or the access to his rapidly cooling office chair.
Just some thoughts and hopes.

Actually I think the constitution was suspended before that. The US has been in a perpetual "State of Emergency" since 1979. On November 14, 1979, by Executive Order 12170, the President declared a national emergency with respect to Iran and Obama just renewed it on Nov 3rd for another year. Since 9/14/2001, Proclamation 7463 has been renewed yearly and was renewed Aug 30th for another year by Obama. There was even an over-lapping state of emergency declared in 2009 for the H1N1 pandemic. Seems there are no checks and balances for the declarations of a states of emergency. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but anyone can review the renewals at anytime... at least until there is a state of emergency declared that requires internet kill switches to be operated.

On August 19, 1997, the President issued Executive Order 13059, consolidating and clarifying the previous orders. I took additional steps pursuant to this national emergency in Executive Order 13553 of September 28, 2010, Executive Order 13574 of May 23, 2011, Executive Order 13590 of November 20, 2011, Executive Order 13599 of February 5, 2012, Executive Order 13606 of April 22, 2012, Executive Order 13608 of May 1, 2012, Executive Order 13622 of July 30, 2012, Executive Order 13628 of October 9, 2012, and Executive Order 13645 of June 3, 2013.
