As of today Bitcoin gained sharply in price reaching two years high crossing the barrier of $10 K. What price do you think Bitcoin would achieve in this bull run? Would it be over 20K or below?

I dont think we will spike right to 20k like last time.  I think starting the year where we did, I imagine some sharp profit taking will start to happen if we get to 11-12k and upwards.  So maybe a little leveling out over the next six months could be what we see here.  Just my 2 cents

Maybe for this year, $15k still can be reached. Don't know what month, but in 6 months actually bitcoin price can increased and steady as long there are no something bad come with news or anything else like hacked news, etc.

It is very possible.
As the market goes right now it seems that it can hit the target of 15k.
If it will start going the opposite way and see a blood market, then we will prolly change our minds.

Next for bitcoin is to become stable again, and $10k is just a small price for now. We can go high, bitcoin is the top coin so we have more assurance for that but i don’t want to expect on short term its volatile and its risky. I hope bitcoin to go for $20k in the next two years, this is a good holding time for sure.

30K USD would definitely be good but I do not think that whales will going to hold for that long and will definitely sell their bitcoin in just a matter of hours. This has been done already from the last bitcoin bull run on 2017 where the bitcoin market price has drop drastically taking only hours. I do hope that it will going to reach 30K USD if bull run will going to happen.
But whale also wanted to have a higher profits, once they've seen that the market flow is sustainable reaching the last time high and holders are
still willing to wait, they can pull it up and try to maximize higher level before dumping out their bagholds, this investment journey will be depend
from how each investors view point regarding to the possible outcome though whales can influence and interfere so better to watch them out.

Do you only work with powers of 10 or something? Tongue
You have to start somewhere, right? Cheesy

Granted these are expected psychological levels but $100K seems too conservative to me. Remember $10K in 2017? Same idea but the market ran straight through it, barely even took a pit stop there.

Since $100K is only 5x above the previous ATH, I think we'll go further.
The market in 2017 didn't have much economical mass, and we also had people rush to purchase Bitcoin so that they could be part of the initial ICO phase of projects.

As Bitcoin matures, there is much more capital needed to move this market by 100%, therefore I do expect that bull runs won't be as explosive as they used to be. Eventually I do believe that we'll blast past the $100,000 level, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen as fast as people think.

I'm not even sure what to do when we're at $100,000 after 2020. Probably hodl til $1,000,000?  Cheesy
Bitcoin is seriously going up and I think we are going to have another push any moment from now based on the way things are going and that might create a new channel between $10,000 and $15,000 throughout the remaining days of this month.

I don't think BTC can sustain 10k right now, there will be some corrections, and in a few days, for sure BTC will hit more than 10k
People also thought that the price wouldn't be able to sustain the $6000 mark but it did so effortlessly. It's safe to say that the bears don't stand a chance in this market despite people expecting a correction to happen.

If we think back, speculation about a severe correction started the moment we pumped over the $6000 mark and we kept pumping since then. People desperately hope that we correct because they want to buy lower.

We'll eventually have a brutal correction and give back lots of these gains, but not until most of these bears capitulate and buy back. Shorts just keep rising and a few days ago, everyone was talking about an H&S top.

Bears are currently clinging to hopes that we're double topping right now......unlikely!

Bitcoin tends to grow in rapid spikes, and what is happening now is really not the one such spike, we are merely recovering from the recent correction, because we've already touched $9,000 recently. The next stop will be at something like $11,000-13,000, then the price will will correct again, and we'll go back and forth for a few weeks or maybe even months. It's hard to call the top of a bull run, but you can estimate the next closest price level.

How do you know the next stop will be $11-$13K? Its very difficult to predict BTC cycles.

Many people assumed that $6000 would be strong resistance and went heavy short or sold all their BTC. And we sliced that area like butter pretty much.

Same can happen with $10K, people will assume its the top and short it heavily or sell and we might slice is straight thru. And like you said before, its hard to call the top, especially with BTC. Many assumed that $2K was the top, then $3K, then $5K, then $8K, then $10K, and they assumed $25K would be the top which never hit.

We will be crossing and hopefully we will crossed that soon, a continues increase now might help to reach that price.

One $10,000 will be breached, I'm confident of a new high this year because there' plenty of time next half compared to the last time where it was only achieved in 3 months or less.

I'm not 100% sure if bitcoin is already prepared for a new all-time high. i guess if we can hit the psychological mark of 10k and stay above, everything is possible on the moon mission. 50k in the first half of 2020 is possible in my opinion.
for now, I also think the same. I think the development of the price of bitcoin is unlimited. it's just that for this year, I might think that it's quite difficult for the price of bitcoin to break the price of $ 10000 but, I'm sure, in the coming July, the price of bitcoin can surpass that, and of course it will make a new impression on the crypto world.

OP is probably from the future and couldn't wait anymore that Bitcoin will hit $10,000 some time this month even though it's currently at $9,000.  Tongue

$50,000 during the first few months of 2020 could be possible but for now it's unlikely as the price could dip and stay below $10,000. I think we'll only break a new high or start seeing big changes after the third halving event.

Bitcoin FTW!
I feel like $10k won't be the exact point of resistance, rather it might be frontrun as we saw in April where the bulk of the actual major $6k resistance was near the middle $5000s and we sliced right through $6000 a few days later after that mess happened. Might actually be a few days until we break up and over $10k, funding on Bitmex is currently pretty high in favor of shorts and selling pressures have returned, driving us temporarily under $9000 yet again.

As for what happens after $10k, we're probably going to hit a number of resistances before getting close to the previous ATH. At the minimum, I feel we're going above the previous ATH and perhaps to $50k.

It could very well be that the corrections have already happened but just not in the way people expected them to happen. Maybe that the bulls have no problems absorbing whatever sellers throw at them with how strong the demand is.

Next 100k

That's my target too. We're past the stage where reaching $10,000 can be referred to as a target, which it was below $4000 but no longer is today.

Where did Bitcoin cross the 10k barrier? From what I see on coinmarketcap, it almost reached $9.3k and then moved down a bit. So it was not even close to $10k, and I don't think it will be in the next couple of days. Bitcoin is doing very well, but let's be realistic with our expectations. I think that it's very likely that Bitcoin will be $20k and above at some point in the next, say, 5 years, but hoping that it will reach the ATH this year is not realistic. And besides, why would we want that? If it reaches that price fast once again, what will stop the price from dropping and us from living in another year or two of the recovery period? I think that not have a bull run is better from the long-term perspective.

For the price to increase, we just needs the cash flowing in, and that's excatly what's happening.
It probably is a whale movement trying to increase the price of coin at a rapid rate but people had been cautious from the last time and would jump out when they feel they had a good profit. So, this train might not go over $20K, not this time.
There's always chances out there that the last time high can be hit and be surpassed by another raging bull, though it's still far from that as $10k ain't been hit yet, but to sum it up being optimistic and open minded regarding to the current flow will bring you more  interest to wait and hold on.

One step at a time, if breaking $10k will happen this month then another level to be break the following and so on.
