Investing in Bitcoin right this instant is not a bad idea, it doesn't matter how much coins you get -as long as you aren't spending your lifesavings on it.
It may have not been best decision but it certainly is not a bad decision neither. Now what this is going to depend on is how long you can hodl onto your bitcoin because if you panic when it goes down (it will eventually go down a little) then you are in for no fun but if you keep calm then by next year end you should likely be in the green, more so than any traditional asset you could have attained. Props to you for jumping in

You'll find out won't you?It's not like we can tell you for certain when something is a good choice or not, for most of us we have no idea what to think of the market and it is as much of a crapshoot trying to guess the price in the future as playing craps itself. There's simply no valuable information we can tell you beyond wishful speculation, the best you can do is wait and see where it all goes. There's nothing that guarantees how valuable your position is, but so far the market looks up according to what you said, so you're already ahead of the ball game.
It is a risk and it could pay off in years to come it does get you into the game. If only you had off done this a few years ago.
Believe me that's the best thing you can do with the money. Investing your money into the Bitcoin is not only profitable but is also a part of contributing sum of the existence to the Bitcoin community. As for now we know that Bitcoin is the best long term investment the time live trading as both of these thing will give you more profit then any banks could pay you. Save that money for another 5 or 6 years and you will be a millionaire because the price will rise but because there will be more millions of people who will join by then.

You really missed that train buddy, or did you already bought?And it was less than $12,000 yesterday, because it just touched that all time high during yesterday.
If you are smart you are going to make a bunch of money, the price is still on big rally to get to $15,000 before 2018, so yes, you are going to make the most easy $2,000 that you have ever earned in your life.

You will never know the output until it will happened. Is that a good decision by OP? Generally at any price level, anyone can enter as long as they know what they are doing and accept all the risks associated the moment they bought the coins.
And to your last statement, day trade? short term? I don't think it will work for now based on current price behaviour especially for an average bitcoiner as they are only increasing the risks of losing.

should've done it earlier but still, welcome to Bitcoin. It's always a good decision to buy BTC so don't ever question it. Just remember that btc is volatile, so don't worry if you start seeing your coins going down, especially if there's a pullback/dip in the price. Other than that, you'll be glad that you bought @ 13k, because by the current projection, we might see 15k this month.
why did you wait till 13k ? you could've bought it when it was 10k just less than a week ago or waited after the price correction. Anyway you could never go wrong investing in bitcoin . Sooner or later you will be making profit like crazy. Have fun watching that number grow
