Thread bump. So far I have helped 3 different clients get their ads listed on JD with 100% satisfaction.
Less than a Starbucks Coffee you could have an ad designed and put onto http://www.Just-Dice.com

And he is getting better with the ad-maker thing. Cheap and good.

Thank you for the numbers dooglus.

Not much going on for advertising at the moment on JD. 1 CLAM (or BTC / Altcoin equivalent) can buy you hundreds or thousands of ad views.

Daily Bump!

Update: Been messing about with GIMP (The program, not my slave) and might use it instead of MS-Paint for banner designing.

We've only been running the ad rotation for a couple of days. Here's how many ads we've served per day so far:

   6320 2015-03-02 (not a full day)
   8892 2015-03-03
8744 2015-03-04 (3 hours left of today, server time)

Note that there are two spots on the page, so maybe you want to halve those numbers if it's page loads you're interested in. But your ad has two chances of being shown per page load, so maybe you don't.

Thank you doog for the numbers!

Update:

   6320 2015-03-02
   8892 2015-03-03
  10088 2015-03-04
   6542 2015-03-05

Note the first and last day will always be just part days.

Why don't you adopt a CPM model, rather than a cost per day model?
As more advertisers enter, it will get too crowded, and each banner will show less. Meaning that potentially the advertiser will be paying more than $2 CPM.

I don't know how many M I have to sell per week. But I do know how many days to expect per week.

If it gets too crowded, people will be getting a bad deal, so it will get less crowded. If it gets too uncrowded (what's the opposite of crowded?), people will be getting a great deal, and so competition will increase.

Seems like the market at work, setting the price. That's got to be better than a centrally set CPM price doesn't it?

Generally speaking, anyone that will advertise will want to know your daily reach (Impressions).

We've only been running the ad rotation for a couple of days. Here's how many ads we've served per day so far:

   6320 2015-03-02 (not a full day)
   8892 2015-03-03

From the little research I've done, $2 per 1000 impressions is common, so if we're having 9000 impressions per day that should cost $18 which is a little under 10 CLAM. Which by a startling coincidence is how much people have been paying per day.

I'll post again in a few days when I have more stats.

Thank you doog for the numbers!

So, I can buy an add and have a banner with a bunch of random shit on it right? I might do that for fun, is there an issue with that?

I'll allow most stuff, but reserve the right to veto an ad.

good job KLYE i hope this goes well for you and takes you a long way towards paying your debt. for anyone looking to purchase an ad i think there plenty of traffic on JD so overall it might be worth it to pay the price for a few days and try to generate some revenue for yourselves

Bump. About to renew my daily ad. anyone want one thrown into the mix?
No. Pay your debt.

It looks like he's trying to:

Due to my inability to control gambling impulses I have trusted escrow on the forums BayAreaCoins to hold funds for the repayment of KLYEMAX.

No. Pay your debt.

The ads pay for themselves. And little side projects like this aide in debt recollection. Scram troll.
