You can check how many owners of the huge business borrow the money and go to casino to play roulette to pay their debt!

I will add that 99.9% of all these cases has no happy end to the business! You will be shocked when you see the list of the companies!
Let start by saying that debt is a negative aspects of whatever we are doing and for such we have keep chasing to be free from every form of debt both as a company or an individual, because with the burden of debt, there is no way you can have the right frame of mind to think wisely, agreeably also we need to stop taking loan to gamble with and at such we should take gambling as just fun and nothing more.

Some of those that have such bad debt records are mostly traceable to gambling incident.

I don't think that most of them do but we've heard stories like the FedEx owner did and luckily, he's able to make it. But any business owner that's going to follow that path is doomed to fail.

Not on Roulette but rather on Blackjack which is a game that a player can have an advantage with card counting that time since continuous shuffling on decks is still not available to counter card counting.

Someone indeed use Blackjack as way to solve money issue through calculated gambling which is different from playing roulette that is a pure luck based game.

In the early days of FedEx, Smith had to go to great lengths to keep the company afloat. In one instance, after a crucial business loan was denied, he took the company's last $5,000 to Las Vegas and won $27,000 gambling on blackjack to cover the company's $24,000 fuel bill. It kept FedEx alive for one more week.

I quite understand you and if a thing like this can happen to a person, why can't it happen to companies, after all, it is human beings that are also behind the companies. So if they've already mismanaged the finances of the companies, they could be desperate to cover many things up and also try to make amends. But they are unwise to have thought that gambling with the remaining accessible amount or borrowing more money to gamble with so that the winning can be larger is the solution.

I strongly advise individuals or companies facing challenges one way or the other regardless of whether or not gambling is the cause to find an alternative solution. They should rather be calm, creative, restrategize and plan. After all, they are not the first who will face challenges and many have come out of it doing better.

If you have a list of them, it's gonna be a good read on how their journey ended with a simple mistake but a very crucial decision that has ended their company and turned it into bankrupt.

I just thought I should share, and maybe you guys have something to chip in too, find details in the shot posted below...
Does he have the rest of the 6k, if he does maybe he can get a passport to go away for a while to avoid the debt bill or go to the mountains to plant corn for a few decades, the proceeds from the corn he can pay for the debt bill spent on gambling.

Seriously, that's the important danger of gambling by borrowing money. Many people make mistakes in estimating and calculating borrowed money and gambling, they think that everything can be doubled, actually it's a short idea if they do, why not gamble with the money they have without having to borrow, actually in this post it reminds us from his cuteness, borrowing doesn't guarantee we can make extra money in the gambling arena.

The guys response is hilarious actually but it carries the message that is worth adhering to. If you borrow money to gamble especially where you are already indebted  you are likely to lose again because of the pressure you already have to repay and that was why he said he will lose the 3k. Another message there is that to borrow money to gamble is never a good way to gamble.

It is just like saying there is no hiding place for a sinner, likewise a debtor can't run forever. Gambler who borrows money to gamble will be indebted in two places if he loses. That is, being indebted to his borrower and being indebted to himself for losing his money and so he would keep chasing and losing.

The guy is acctually saying that the borrower are slowly digging his own grave.

My father always said, never borrow money from someone, because you can only run for so long, until you get caught and living a life, constantly having to look over your shoulder... are not a life worth living.

People kill for money... so you should not mess with their wealth... work for your own money.

Correctly and perfectly said, totally agree with you, it's simply not worth it, most especially when we compare the risk to the potential reward, it is easy to assume borrowing to gamble is one of the easiest ways to make money even with a zero bank balance, that is; you win, repay the borrowed money ones, two times (depending on how large the won amount is), then the gambler already have (maybe) more than enough profit to go on gambling on their own without need to borrow money again.

It's one of the worst things to do, I have seen people taking loans to gamble with it hoping that they might win something and return the money with what they have won and keep the rest but it never works that way because nothing is guaranteed in gambling, you don't know whether you are going to win or not which means that it is not wise to use someone else's money for something like this if you know you can't return it in case you lose.

Just like the person asking for advice to stay underground after taking a loan and losing it, such gamblers keep doing the same thing, they borrow funds from one person, lose it in gambling, keep hiding from that person while trying to find more people who can lend them some money, and they wouldn't repay the loan with that money but try to recover their losses which is another mistake.
The number of times a person can get away with this is very limited, if there is one thing that all people without exception hate is to trust a friend with a loan and then for such friend to not reciprocate and fail to pay that loan.

So you can be sure that anyone that is willing to listen to the story of the defrauded friend will know what happened, so when the addicted gambler tries to pull of the same stunt again, they will find out no one is willing to lend them any money regardless of the reason they may ask for the loan.

That will not takes too long for that person lose all of the money and he will get a big problem that he will not imagine before. Taking a loan for gambling is not a good idea and not recommended for all people who want to playing gambling. That will cause them in a big trouble and we will surely they will difficult to escape from the lenders.

If gambling is easy to win, many people will takes a loan from other people and win the games. They even will use gambling as a source of income because they can wins many gambling games and gets the money. That will only makes more people will gets into deep of gambling without having a chance to quit gambling because they will becomes addicted to gambling.

We must stay away from takes a loan for gambling. Besides of the big chance of losing the money, we will difficult to repay the loan to the lenders. The lenders will easily to find out where we hide because they have resources that they will use to search us.
Unfortunately, once your addicted to gambling, staying off from debts might be too hard to do. Even if you know that could cause you trouble in the future, but your greed towards making more money will prevail. So advices like these will never create a big impact to them, but wait until they experience consistent losses and used up all their life savings, I’m sure in the end they will quit without telling them since they don’t have money anymore to bet.

Lol, some people are sure like that to be honest, you did be surprised that there are people who have made it a habit to borrow money and never pay back, and amazingly, they do this and keep doing it and are so comfortable about or with it.

All kicks and laughter untill that kind of people cross their path with someone who they think they can fool with their strategy, but they realize inna hard way they borrowed from someone they should not have borrowed and end up tortured, recorded in video and finally hidden in an unnamed hole in the middle of the jungle.
It may sound like an exaggeration, but in developing countries, specially where shark loans are common, one should never ask for money to gamble, in the end the money is going to be lost and the criminals will lose their temper.
It is such a sad and dangerous way to live, in my opinion. It is not worth it.

It is always and absolutely simple to assume outcomes such as the above, but some fail to understand that assumptions can never be reality, for anybody can assume anything, but in the end, reality is what really matters, there are many who have (out of assumptions) gotten themselves into problems they never did imagined they ever be in.
Assuming you can borrow money, easily win, repay the money borrowed and go on enjoying gambling; is something that is very rare and only the extremely lucky ones have tried and it worked for them just the way they assumed it would, for the rest, it always end in the opposite of their assumption.

Ok, I couldn't hold the laughter. At first, I thought the guy was giving him good advice or something that would find a solution to the situation but after reading through I got confused before I saw the main thing he was trying to do there. Pure sarcasm, he did there.

Honestly, the gambler is very stupid after running from paying someone's debt, he still came back to ask people how he would continue to hide from paying the debt. Instead of asking for a solution.

The worst is that many of these people got angry when asked for payment and or pretend that they don't owe you anything and have the right to get hurt feelings.  I so wanted to see these kinds of people in jail but the law in my country when it comes to debt is so easy.

Anyways, I guess it's all still good, at least, we all can never be the same, it's just like our faces are different, so is our characters and attitudes, and it's actually what makes life worth living.

As long as we enjoy gambling and engage with it responsibly, it will always be good regardless of our skin color and nature.

The comment on the guys problem is pure sarcasm, it simply tells that if the guy involved does not change his behavior, he is good as dead to other people.

Well, let me start by saying that this is nothing serious really, apperently, I was just scrolling down my reddit feeds and came across this post of a guy in a reddit gambling who said he was owning $6k as a result of sports betting, and obviously; he's not able to pay the money, and in other for him not to be disturbed by the lender, he changed his phone number, and he was asking for advice on what more to do to keep evading paying back that debt..

And another reddit user in the form of a comment chipped in an advice which after reading, I was really helpless with laughter 🤣🤣🤣, this is the funniest thing I comment I read on the internet today.

I just thought I should share, and maybe you guys have something to chip in too, find details in the shot posted below...

The fact is that a person has borrowed money and is betting an amount of $6000 from the borrowed money but he has decided to hide himself by changing his mobile number and address. In no way should a gambler do this because he has managed money from a source while dealing with that source as a dishonest gambler. A consultant has given advice on behalf of the gambler. The advice is quite surprising and I think Reddit gambling has come up with advice for sheer enjoyment. It cannot or should not be taken seriously in any way. But my advice to that gambler is that since you have won the $6000 bet, you should pay back all the borrowed money from whatever sources you have borrowed. You don't need to change any mobile number or address.  Be honest and give honest advice to others.

          -    That's because the effect when you gamble is that the money you put into the casino comes from debt, which is not really the right decision made by any gambler who tries this way. And the advice given to him is quite funny.

But as much as possible, don't take out a loan just to gamble at the casino. If you don't have the funds to gamble, be patient and don't gamble; instead, wait for the right opportunity to have money so you can gamble again. It's worse than when you gambled and then lost, and worst of all, you have a debt that you have to pay with a lot of interest.

And when such persons are involved in gambling, it automatically makes matters worst for them, and it's unfortunate that this are the type of people that usually give gambling a very bad name, they make people believe that people who gamble are never responsible, when they themselves lack basic understanding what gambling is really all about.

Anyways, I guess it's all still good, at least, we all can never be the same, it's just like our faces are different, so is our characters and attitudes, and it's actually what makes life worth living.

That kind of ironic response is right up my alley. I mean, a moron does what he shouldn't do, which is borrow money to gamble, loses it, and then asks for advice on how to continue without getting caught? He's playing with gambling, and he's lucky he can hide it on the internet. In the time of the mafia this was solved with a baseball bat.
Really – I'm impressed by your wise advice, it's certainly not a good idea to gamble with borrowed money if you can't be responsible. Most gamblers fail to pay their loan due to losses and simply run away from debt collectors – this is embarrassing. Another most embarrassing thing is when they ask how to hide to escape their responsibility to pay the loan.

It's still a good idea if they pay off the loan and continue gambling with the remaining fund. It is honesty that reflects good morals - but who cares about morals when his situation is so desperate, especially if he can no longer afford his loans.

I guess, morale is out of question when the person is at his desperate situation. He would find options that may be out of his character because of what is at stake on his life. This is why if you are a gambler, make sure you won't put yourself into this kind of situation where you will go against your principles in life.

Though it is kinda funny what the person gave as an advice to that troubled gambler, but I believe a lot of gamblers are actually experiencing the same situation. If you are one of them, better find side jobs to augment your income, face the lender and talk about your debt payment plan. You need to face the consequences because it is yourself that you put into this situation. Rather than running, I would say, face your problem before you go deep in this situation.

LoLz!!! That is continues borrowing and that advice is not good but if the second borrowing wins the bet then he can pay the two debt but if he lose then he has to hide from two instead of one person and he can't stay at home again because if one person didn't come today another will come and tomorrow another one again therefore his hiding now is a perpetual. But as for me he should face his fear because the Leander will not kill him and the worst come to worst they will negotiate and agree on a date which he will have money to pay off the loan instead of hiding.

He has to come out and tell the time to pay the debt and go out and work either a helper to bricklayer and other daily works which can give him some funds. And it is not easy to gamble and win $6k within a time from oh. Because gambling has to do with good luck and not bad luck.
