If you actively engage in any sort of activity that involves arguing with someone you're most likely going to receive negative or neutral trust somewhere down the line. It's not a big deal, but Rawted should not leave you feedback for anything as it's your thread you chose to self-moderate and he chose to post in it. I see he left you neutral feedback which in my opinion is still wrong. You should message him about it to take it off.

There's no reason to leave feedback for someone who deleted a post you made. There's nothing suspicious going on and it doesn't involve trading. You aren't making threads solely for the purpose of deleting people's comments or going on a power trip. Although I would stay away from limiting people's speech as much as possible, it seems you had a good reason for it and the feedback, negative or neutral, is unjustified.

Glad this worked out.  I don't think deleting a post in a self moderated thread rises to untrustworthy behavior.

Depends what thread it's in. If someone is deleting valid questions or concerns in a marketplace thread it can look pretty dodgy.

Wait, you mean it got resolved within hours without any whining, attention whoring, accusations, or bitching?

When the person who has basically given you trust credibility, e.g. they are on the default trust list and trust you, makes an inquiry about some questionable trust you've given out, people tend to respond in a pretty reasonable manner.

Guess I'll have to watch my soaps for my drama fix today, thanks for nothing.

I deleted someone's off topic post in a self-moderated thread and he gives me a negative trust rating. Isn't that rating for people who exchange goods or something?
I pinged him to take a look at that feedback, let's see what he does

Looks to be gone. Thanks.

That can be given by anyone even if they haven't trade with you before. Since this forum promotes free speech, mods do not interfere with the trust ratings and you have to get the person who gave you the trust to remove the trust rating.

No I dont escrow anymore.
It's untrusted feedback anyway, no worries.

No, it isn't. I see it as "trusted" feedback (maybe check your trust list).

Maybe you should check your list. It's your problem to trust people who give fake feedbacks.

Rawted is listed on level two below DefaultTrust as beeing on the trust list of CanaryInTheMine.

I've only "DefaultTrust" in my trust list and yes maybe you are right , I should untrust ~Rawted . I'm sorry if I seem "arrogant" I didn't want.

yeah thats trusted feedback.
i think this feedback is 100% wrong!
self-moderate says it all - if you dont like dont post, but it is the choice of the OP if he wants to delete a post or not.

a normal user with trust depth 2  will see the trust rating as "trusted".
Most of the people don't care to create their own trust list.
So I guess the OP should be worried.

I guess people should be allowed to leave that kind of feedback. But that should be marked neutral because you were not scamming anyone. I think neutral is made for this kind of trust rating.
The thing you did were not worth giving negative feedback. You should pm the guy who awarded you this trust and you should ask him to remove it.

I also think the same, instead the personal things should not "interfere" in the trust ratings.

Just looked at a few people's trust scores. Looks like it is made for giving people good or bad ratings if you like them or not.

I don't use it and don't plan on trading with anyone on here so no big deal. I'm sure I'll say or do things that will offend people but don't plan on begging them to change their mind. They are free to disagree.

If someone is frequently leaving retaliatory feedback or feedback for things they just don't like or agree with then that should be looked into.

The feedback is unnecessary and he should remove it, but I don't see why you needed to self-mod that thread though, though that's your right whether you do or not, but as you can see all you do is piss people off when comments start getting deleted.

Speculation is full of spam and trolls. In any way if one does not agree with the way a self moderated thread is handled by the OP there is always the option to create a similar thread that is moderated  by staff. I dont think the trust system should be used in this way, hence my neutral "rating" towards Rawted. I also removed Rawted from my personal trust list as a consequence. On a slightly different note I recently got negative feedback from Rawted for the neutral comment on his rating towards Elwar, but I wrote them and they removed it.

I think if you - Elwar - write Rawted this can be sorted out.
