I agree with you. Gambling is not even an investment, it's mathematically impossible to profit over the long term.

gambling is only sensible when you have money you can afford to lose. Most often, there is never any affordable money to lose Tongue

Just kidding, but I think the people who invest in gambling are prepared to take a loss as much as they are prepared to win. Its about luck and its fine to test your luck once or twice, have fun but just don't get obsessive with it

I don't consider gambling as an investment.
It is just entertainment, for which there is a cost attached. If you have that view, your losses won't really hurt you that much.

debatable "long term" in its self is not specific, to an insect 3 days is a long time, but to us its nearly nothing, i view gambling as a form of entertainment with possible rewards

It actually depends on what type of gambling he is doing and where. I know a few poker grinders that consistently earn their living off grinding out hand after hand day after day. One of them has been doing it longer than I have been alive as his only source of income.

Im just getting more BTC and holding them and i have about 15% invested in other altcoins I like (about 3).
I don't see anything worth investing at. I was considering loans but it seems everyone gets scammed and people never pay back.

Nice breakdown, but i would cutoff the could mining into something more usefull maybe bitcoin domains for resell value could be a better investment.

To op, I think gambling is good for an entertainment, but as an investment it is a bad idea. For cloud mining I like hashnest. They build that hardware so it makes sense to sell it to you.

everybody is now praying that they bought bitcoins when it was much more less in price and scared that if it spikes like crazy, they would regret it so much lol. The best time to buy bitcoin is when it hits 22o again and I think that day is not that far, this is a temporary spike and it will be back to what it should be after a few years so hold and stick around, because thr price is going to the moon very soon Cheesy

it was with cointellect and altcoin, it does not work anymore, it was in the good old days of 2014

Yeah, even I used to do that, and it was really without much effort. It used to work great but sadly it doesn't work anymore, it shut down in 2k14'. Also regarding cloud mining, I have always had negative experiences, used it thrice and it was a scam all the three times, didn't really try after that, don't really want to :/
