I've thought about the shadier sounding websites like BitInstant, but I think it's safer to stick with the more difficult but established services.

There needs to be a "paypal for bitcoins" which automatically equates a projected exchange rate and adjusts accordingly. only problem with that would be the creator would be taking on a MASSIVE risk with every transaction.

1% ish fee with credit card with less than 24h turnaround would be excellent. good luck.

I would love to do that with credit cards but what if some one says they want to dispute the charges? we cant issue a refund because they already have the bitcoins. I think a company would have already if that was not in place.

as for a 1%fee, the only ones doing this is coinbase and they rarly have coins to buy, but on an off chance you can purchase the coins (I have) they take about one week to get to you. so you have to moneture the site constently and if your lucky they will have coins to sell, of corse this is only after they verify your bank account.  to verify it takes about a week....just under. i do have an account with them and i find it hard to be able to buy ....a message always comes up saying sorry we are out of coins at the moment, check back latter.  on top of this if you buy now and say bitcoin crashes to ten dollars well it takes one hole week for your coins to show up so now you are stuck. I just got coins today that I bought at 189.90 I am way in the hole on that one. if they were instant i could have not only not taken a loss but would have made money, i could have sold at 260 or 250 or 240 or broke even at 189.90 but now (just today) i have ten coins i bought at least a week ago for 1891.90 and if i sell now ill take a 70% loss. 1,400 down the drain or at least till it goes back up (fingers crossed).

if I want get them within a few hours (granted there is no holdup like mine and its been 91/2 days and still no funds) then i have to pay a 3.999% fee along with a 3.95 transfer fee. so you can see why 2% would be one hell of a deal. you get them in one day, you dont have to take a 1,400 loss if it crashes and you dont have to pay a high 4% fee with an aditional 3.95 service fee.

Good ideas. There is a large need for a safer and faster method of BTC purchase. Something to open the market to more buys.

I think its a good idea but what restrictions would there be?

would it help the average person buy bitcoins? in turn up the price of bitcoins and then everyone who has bitcoins would see a profit .... good things all around Grin

Hi everyone, Im just wondering if people in general would like an easier way to get bitcoins?

there are sights now that let you buy bitcoins as long as they have bitcoins but usualy dont and they charge a 1% fee, also you need to set up an account and verrification procces and all this hoop la that takes about four - five days.   come on this is (at least here) AMERICA and we have the attention span of a one year old. also once you buy them you have to wate about a week or two to get them. plezzzzz

so what other options? a shady moneygram cash deposit? that falls threw the cracks and if you try to call or email or live chat that is not live you get what? nothing. 400 down the drain and a big pain in the butt.

now whats left? options are scarce and people want it cheep and easy.

what if there were some sort of way that could get you your coins quick and easy. one way would be a credit card, just type in your numbers and how much you want to buy and the destination bitcoin address and bam you get your coins. but the problem here is with a CC you get people who might dispute the charges and then what, you cant get your coins back because they are gone, they are anonymous.

so that got me thinking what if there was a way that let you buy bitcoins in about a day, a 2% fee (in the middle of 1% for the five day set up thing and a 4% for the coins in a few hour thing.) and in about a day you get your coins.  Im thinking what if people went and got those green dot money cards, they put however much they want to spend on it, they send the start up company the coad on the back, they then verify the funds and wait till they get funded (about 4 hours max) then they see what the going rate is and send them the coins to the bitcoin address that they gave them. you cannot dispute charges on a greendot money card, so no problems with the merchant and you can be anonymous as a buyer with this.

this would take less then a day to processes but just to be safe it would say about a 24 hour turn around.

ok now give me your thoughts on this, would you be interested?
do you see any problems that may arise of such a company were to start up.
would you use this service?
would you feel more or less comfortable using this service compared to the others out there?
do you think there is a market for such a service?

let me know, please CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, I dont care if you think its a bad idea but tell me WHY you think this and how to solve any issues that it might have.

thank you kindly everyone!!!!  (got a little bit longer than i wanted)
