Why would this photo of him and WB affect the crypto markets? That would show how immature the markets still are. Meeting WB doesn't mean anything..

If there's something I'm sure about Justin Sun, is that this dude loves attention. And by having a dinner with such a big name in the investing space like Warren Buffet, this dude's definitely gonna get some publicity in social media and in media in general. I mean, he already has an article from CNBC[1] lmao. I completely agree that this money could be used for a lot more better things though; knowing that Warren Buffet isn't really tech literate.

Well, I never overthink about that dinner because I think that is only getting popularity over Justin Sun. Maybe he wants to show that he already met Warren Buffet in one table, and had a discussion with him about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. 1 bitcoin is for the way to attract Buffet to learn more about bitcoin, but we will see it later what will Buffet do with that 1 bitcoin. Next, I guess Justin Sun will make another news.

He didn't take with him Craig Wright, he would have been very offended by now, he would have market his BSV just same way Sun stylishly market his Tron. I hope this bring more investors to Tron. I don't have any TRX though.

I don't like TRX and Sun talks like a scammer most of the time. I just don't fdeel like this guy is someone whose advice I'd follow. I used to like Charlie Lee before he dumped his LTC, buty at least he was honest about it.

Has anyone noticed that all these rich guys have very poorly made suits? I'd expect to see something like this worn by a school teacher, but these guys are millionaires. Most of them have far too long pants and Warren's shoes look pretty worn and dirty.

Well, if you do have the money then you wont care too much if those things is on your mind or according to your liking with having a corresponding intention after wards.

I fully agree that these kind of news isnt really that relevant for it to affect the market.Actually laughed out into those screenshots of tweets above on the conversation of Sun and WB.

Justin met with WB to pump Tron. Just like he bought Poloniex and DLive just to pump his shitty coin. When he decided to delist DigiByte from Poloniex and gave 0 real reasons they made that decision (it was obviously because the founder of DGB had a little beef with Justin), it became clear for me. And then he added some other shitcoins.. he lost all his respect in my eyes.

Because he has the money, he has the ability to promote his coin as if it's the best of the best. The coins ongoing through his token are mostly known as ponzi scams.

He had $70M raised through the ICO. I doubt these $4.5M he's paid Warren Buffet came out of his pockets. He has most likely paid from the wallets of his supporters. In fact, last month TRX unlocked 33B TRX tokens. That's over $750M at the current price of TRX..

Justin Sun is a legend when it comes to selfie with a lot of huge figures in the world of finance. This is a big opportunity as Warren Buffet is a big figure but I dont think what Justin saying on his tweet isn't the real convo he had with the guy. People would not believe that Warren supports him directly and of course criticize the blockchain and even bitcoin that lacks of improvement and there is still need a lot of works to be done before fully can be adopted by many users.

Let me ask this, buffet is an investor and did he even used this so called cryptocurrency? I dont think he haven't yet and his comment maybe just based on what his advisors or colleague advise him too.

I don't get how people still care even a bit about Justin Sun. He's done the worst crap for the Bitcoin community, including taking over Poloniex. Turned a great exchange into literal shit.

Why would this photo of him and WB affect the crypto markets? That would show how immature the markets still are. Meeting WB doesn't mean anything.. he paid $4.5M just for a lunch. I'm sure the information he has received is priceless, but that does not mean anything positive/negative for cryptocurrencies. Makes no sense & I can already imagine how full Twitter is of "Justin Sun met WB! TRX moon!" tweets..

I would've rather met with someone who's interested in developing something huge for our community. Could turn into potentially creating a revolutionary platform or idea instead of turning $4.5M into a dinner.

I'm sure it was just dinner. It's unlikely that Warren allowed Justin to talk about crypto.
I've heard about the intentions of organizing this meeting, and if I remember correctly the purpose of it for Justin was to convince Warren that Bitcoin is alright and deserves attention. So no wonder that they actually discussed cryptos over dinner. It was more like a business dinner, and Justin probably paid for it, right?
I don't think that it will affect the TRX price, though. After all, it's not like they agreed to a mutually beneficial partnership or anything, they just talked and apparently Warren did not change his mind at all.

Justin Sun  finally shared a meal with legendary investor Warren Buffett. Sun’s guests were Charlie Lee, founder of the Litecoin Foundation; Chris Lee, chief financial officer of the Chinese exchange Huobi; Yoni Assia, chief executive of the trading platform eToro; and Helen Hai, head of Binance Charity
 Foundation.

Among a slew of gifts, Sun presented Buffett with a Samsung phone loaded with one Bitcoin and a number of Tron TRX coins that corresponded with the 89-year-old’s birthday. Justin received priceless insights from Warren during $515.05 dinner. Let's see how TRX price will behave in upcoming hours ?

Are you ready with your jet pack for the mooning ? Or ride on a roller coaster?

Neither (I doubt Tron would get anything from this).

Why would you give money to a millionaire? That's like giving fish to a fisherman.... And Buffet hates crypto, he would have sold it or ignore the gift entirely, such a poor choice...

if I see from Justin's tweet that is only a small talk (not serious) about cryptocurrencies, this will not affect the price of Tron.

Warren Buffet is so insignificant to Bitcoin, he's not a cryptographer, he's not a computer scientist, he's a boomer with zero understanding of new technologies - can't even use a smartphone or email.
Are you sure about what you say "Warren Buffet zero understanding with new technology"!!  Warren is currently in the top 5 richest people in the world, he certainly has a special team that keeps him informed of developments in the world. so even though he didn't learn new technology, the smart people he paid would certainly tell him about developments and changes happening in the world.

I mean, yea it's just a dinner. So of course they're allowed to talk about almost anything. And it says that Justin Sun gave him some bitcoin, so I'm going to assume bitcoin was somewhat talked about regardless how long or how short. I swear though, Justin could've picked better people like Andreas Antonopoulos to talk to Buffet, but I guess Charlie Lee is fine as long as he actually focused on Bitcoin(and not Litecoin).

One thing's for sure, I really wish there's a video of it. Though I kinda doubt it.

The announcement came almost 2 weeks after the lunch. It's a charity lunch, proceeds of those millions raked in from the auction go to good causes so you know what, I'm okay with all them guys.

I have a teeny soft spot for Charlie Lee...

But yeah, worth looking at what might have been exchanged between someone firmly in the old school... and someone firmly in the weird school that's also kinda NOT Bitcoin.

1 Bitcoin. Damn. Could get me a nice mini house back home.

Either it is just a dinner or business talk, this is good and positive news for the crypto arena. I am sure the market might react to this in the next couple of days, presently, TRON is already pumped and I am expecting a big move in the leading crypto.

He has $.
That's what makes the world spin. Although sometimes it makes it spin in the wrong direction.

I think there is more to this dinner that we have seen in the photograph. This might be an investment in cryptocurrency in days to come. Would buffet be talked into buying heavily into crypto  Huh Time will reveal but I know price will surely react to this.

Yeah, because this is how it works in business.
Before investing in developing a residential area you do a publicity stunt and let all the land owners raise the prices of the land you're supposed to buy!!!

It was nothing like that, Justin Sun PAID HIM $4,567,888 for that dinner.

So why do so many Bitcoiners care about his opinions? Because average Bitcoiners only view Bitcoin as an investment, but this is wrong because even if you only want to see profits, you still have to learn the technology so you can make educated decisions about its future. This is why Warren Buffet's "rat poison" opinion is worthless, despite his legendary reputation as a trader.

IIRC, Justin paid him just to be with Warren for this dinner right? With that tweet of Justin, Warren is still firm with his action and words about bitcoin and I think no one can change that already unless his grandson will invest that inheritance to bitcoin.  Tongue
That will be a great twist with his words.

At least Buffett doesn't seem like the idiot everyone keeps insisting he is. He had dinner/lunch with all these guys and he's 89 and can still have a sensible conversation. I don't love guys like him but I don't just hate on him for all his dislike of BTC. Thanks for sharing! Wish it was someone else rather than Justin Sun though!

I wouldn't take a word from Justin about what they actually discussed, especially when there's nobody to confirm the conversation. Nice to see an old high-powered man being open to this kinda discussion tho
