According to the link by the OP trump thought is against the crypto currency, they believe crypto isn't real currency and it use in the crimes and with high volatility movement that some reason why trumph don't like crypto. Hoping the peower of convincing by Justin Sun later trump accept and approve crypto as legal tender in all states of America which is a good help for the crypto become worldwide currency.

Big people to talk about cryptocurrency and with Warren Buffet I guess this is not good idea, there might be hidden agenda on this that could hurt the market, I don’t know why but I don’t feel any good if this thing happen. Donald Trump is not a fan of Bitcoin and a few days ago Trump attacked Bitcoin and Libra, Buffett hated Bitcoin and other crypto.  Donald Trump asked all companies to follow the regulations of the US government.  I think Trump and Buffet will reject his offer.  Trump makes a statement that Bitcoin is not money and has the potential to violate the law.

Inviting all these big people like Buffet is part of promoting the use of cryptocurrencies including his TRON and BTC as well. Though he may be barking up the wrong tree,

A good marketing strat, though I don't think Buffett nor Trump will actually accept the invitation wholeheartedly. Justin Sun should avoid unnecessary controversy by keeping President Trump off his comical marketing style, the president has a lot of issues to contend with, the Mexico wall, the trade war and other issues.  We can't tell if the President doesn't have bitcoin bought for him through a third party.

With that exposure and attention Sun gets from the media by just inviting the US President and Warren Buffett, he has already made his move successful by getting the crowd to start talking about him.

If this is just another publicity stunt, I'm now imagining a meeting of whales.

Apart from the free lunch what good thing will it bring to the world of crypto if the two of them accept that offer? Geezers can't easily be swayed and that applies to those two. In the end, that lunch will not happen and to be honest, why not make that money for a good cause instead of wasting it for a one-time lunch?

I doubt that he can sway both Warren Buffet or the President here. This is nothing but a PR stunt for Justin as we all know he is good a "shilling God". Not his charm and wit will convince those traditional investors. Maybe they can have a discussions about crypto and Justin can present the cons and advantages of it, but at the end of the day, just a waste of time and money on his end.

I do not know why he is trying to convince trump and  Warren Buffet. who he should convince, are the people. the more people in the world use bitcoin and other altcoins will oblige any government in this world to accept bitcoin and other altcoins as a means of payment. The people at the end is who's in charge. Imagine if 90% of Americans went on the streets and went on strike demanding that the government legalize bitcoin?
