When is it going to Bittrex?

Just kidding!

Market cap is roughly $333,000 (at 2750 sats, which is about the average right now). I'm guessing when it goes to Bittrex it'll hit about 2 mil market cap. Probably bounce off 20k.

I'm having a tough time accumulating much unless I keep market buying to 3k.

I think majority of holders are just staking and don't have it in YoBit (as you can see if you'd buy all the coins currently for sale on Yobit you'd only end up with around 2m ).

Im not staking mine but only because I have them on a shared computer and I dont trust my sisters boyfriend.  Smiley Otherwise my 666444 would be staking now and not just sitting on the rich list at lucky 13th spot.

What's the policy for the dev fund and Paypal reserve fund? Are they both being staked?

The dev fund is being staked, the entirety of the Paypal reserve fund is not being staked (half is) as we need to ensure on the fly liquidity if a user decides to withdraw after a pp tx becoming mature.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out if it was worth staking what I have, but with it being pos 3 and there being over 1 and a half million continuously staking it's probably not worth it. Could you explain a bit more what you mean by on the fly liquidity please?

When someone buys using paypal, we need to be able to distribute their coins instantly. If it was staking then that would not be able to be done.

Gotcha, that makes sense. Thanks

If everyone who asked about that here instead asked Bittrex directly, it would probably have been added by now.

Reading is hard for some people it seems I dont get it why they keep asking.

yes this is one of the major coin later  Wink

so far, dev and the team has worked hard in the project. I'm confident with it. but I think, jewels ann still need speakers with a variety of world languages. not all traders in bitcointalk understand speech with English. So of course we need the speaker to be able to embrace them all with their own languages.

I'm very confident, with speakers of various languages, will raise prices before the lovers of the game came to buy jewels with paypal.

please consider.

Good question.

Regarding all those who complain about Bittrex - you should be thankful its not yet on it since that will drive prices up get it cheap while you can at YoBit.

Also Chris - amazing work so many fixes in such a short span of time, along with other features (security) I can only say kudos - Jewels is a sleeping beauty that will erupt like the most aggressive volcano.

I just realized how many updates, new content, new features, changes and bug fixes have been implemented in the last 3 days. It's almost like Chris never sleeps. Seriously Chris, how do you do all this in such a short amount of time.

Just based on this alone I think jewels is extremely undervalued. 10-25K should be more realistic for jewels. I wont sell even one before we see 10k at the very minimum and I may only sell about 15-25% of my stack and I'm holding the rest for 0.00?? ?? ??

Chris (and the team) is the man...

Is it worth it to stake the coins? How much can you really get?

It's 0.5 JWL per block so assuming you get 1 block every 12 mins that's only 120 JWL a day. Which is 3600 JWL a month and at 2k sats a piece at $600 BTC, that's barely $50 a month.

And to get 1/12 you'd need to be staking, what, 1m JWLs or more?

Its not worth staking so leave your coins in the wallet not staking so me and everyone else can take our share of the stake and not complain about free money.

 Grin

A Discussion On Account Security

Heroes comes with a lot of improvements for users to manage their account. I wanted to make a quick post covering how they work so everyone's on the same page.

Standard Security Practices

This means salting+hasing passwords, forcing SSL on all pages, forcing email confirmation on signup and when making any significant changes to account settings. This is nothing special and should be expected from any online service but it's still worth mentioning as it's the foundation on which everything else tends to rely.

HWID Whitelist

Sharing accounts in online games is a very common practice. As game owners we might not like it because of the headaches inevitably caused when someone tries to scam you or take your items but we know it will never be fully prevented. Our job is to make sure that players are aware of the risks they are taking, and have the tools to keep themselves as safe as possible.

When logging into your dashboard on our website you will notice there is a HWID Whitelist feature. It is off by default but we will strongly recommend those who are concerned with the safety of their in-game items enable it (and in the cases of scammed characters we will turn it on for them to avoid repeat issues).

When enabling or disabling the feature, the server will send an email to your registered address confirming the change. This is necessary for obvious reasons so that you don't accidentally lock yourself out of your account and to make sure if someone has access to your username/password, they can't simply turn off the safety features you have.

Once enabled, when you log into the game it will check if your computer has been verified to use that specific character, if not it will check if a validation email has been sent within the past 10 minutes (to avoid spam). It will generate a shared authentication token and will send an email to the registered account warning them that someone is trying to access their account.

When following the link in your email, you will be able to Block or Allow the computer in question as well as assigning a nickname to it. Blocked connections simply blocks that computer sending new email requests to your account. You should obviously still change your account details but you can be confident they wont be able to play unless they also have access to your email. When clicking allow, it whitelists the computer permanently - or until you remove it from your dashboard.

Removing blocked/allowed computers from the dashboard simply re-triggers the standard validation procedure when that computer is next used.

Login History

If you are suspicious that someone else is using your account, you can log in on your dashboard to view a history of everyone who is logging into your account. This includes the following details.

Time of login
IP used
Nickname (if any) of computer

It's worth noting that computer nickname is a very useful feature to identify who is using your computer. Simply turn on HWID whitelist and name each computer something unique (EG: "HomePC" "Joe'sPC") and you can easily tell who is using your account at a glance.

In-Game Protection

Player can 'lock' their items using an in-game interface. Locked items cannot be dropped, traded or sold except to players they have added as "Trade partners". Adding a trade partner and unlocking an item each has a 7 day confirmation period which means that you can easily trade valuable items between your alternate characters or even trusted friends without worrying about them being lost.

Players who lose items by PKing large amount of players have their items confiscated which involves a similar 7 day waiting period before the slayer may claim their rewards. In the case of your account being compromised, as long as you bring it to our staff's attention within a week, restoring lost items will be very trivial and will not involve inconveniencing any other players.

Obviously there's plenty more we could talk about but I just wanted people to be aware of some of the improved security features added to the game  as we're pretty happy with how they turned out. Obviously the project is constantly evolving and growing and improvements will continue to be made.

Amazing to see you put security high up like this. Some people don't realize but the extra steps you take to make us and our accounts safer makes for a much more enjoyable experience.

Thanks Chris.

Can you please make like a wizard within the dashboard for account security like what bitrex did to theirs ( with security meter) . It will encourage user to set their account with higher security possible
