When can I sell things in the game for jewels ?? Lots of lovely jewels !! Then I can withdraw then and trade them on the market and get even more !! Then get better things in the game. Good for the economy of jewels.

That's how it works. JWL coin is not implemented in the game trading and it won't because it has a too slow transaction (block) time for ingame trading. Imagine yourself trading a sword for JWL and wait for confirmations...
Chris had to find an "escamotage":
You buy from a website (called JWL portal) with JWL an equivalent number of jewel tokens (transferring JWL from your "Personal JWL Wallett" to "Website JWL Big Wallett").
You should be able to buy stuff with these tokens from Dev ingame shop or from other players, or sell stuff for these tokens.
Whenever you like you should be able to convert these tokens back to JWL 1:1 (from "website JWL Big Wallett" to your "personal wallett"). Chris basically issue 1 million JWL tokens and sell part of it for USD, these tokens are backed from "1 million JWL Paypal fund" to grant convertibility.
The only problem with this feature is these tokens don't exist yet, nor we can see a way to trade them ingame. Both Apex and Heroes use CPS as premium currency.
Developer could use a "CPS like" token to speed things up, but I bet current players base won't be happy. They're loaded with CPS, and some CPS were/are sold on website (some are gained in game). No items are sold for gold in the game internal market (player to player), only CPS are used.
Please consider actual players are loaded with CPS and we're going to say them "Your actual currency is going to lose purchasing power tomorrow. It's because an additional currency will be implemented"
Also consider actual players keep buying CPS with United States Dollars on website, (10 USD for 2500 CPS): donation page is still up today though ICO ended and JWL coins were distribuited.
Do not forget actual players still don't know anything about JWL, there is no message in game, nor on ApexConquer Forum, nor on Facebook page. Not a single actual player knows a new currency will be implemented soon, there is no word about it on ApexConquer homepage or Heroes one. There is of course a little link to your wallett/ico page, visible after you login, but I guess only us are used to click it.
A normal player would not click, or in case he does he would probably ignore it, because he did read nothing about the project and see no news elsewhere.

What follows is my personal opinion, it's worth nothing so please "take it with a grain of salt". Do not use it for investments pourpose or such, it's just my 2 cents of JWL.
- We could have kindly spoken in last month with actual base players, explain JWL project and it's solidity. Of course someone would be pissed, but I guess most of them would have gladly endorsed it as we all did.
- We could have found a way to "sterilize" (economically speaking) a part of actual CPS monetary mass in some way, in order to lower impact of JWL implementation.
- We could have converted a little bit of website paypal funds (this coin has a 10% premine, but the 5% for paypal seems a bit high), for somehow "refund" CPS big usd buyers. Who cares if 2% funds are used to payback players and they drop immediatly JWL on exchanges, it's just a 6.5 BTC worth and if they silly enough to sell under ICO price someone here would buy them all.
For a little cost we may had USD customers to download JWL wallett if they want to cash in. After they sell all of their "free" JWL... they will want them back to buy stuff ingame and maybe will start trading on exchanges :-)
Normal traders wouldn't buy from Chris for a premium, when they can buy cheaper on exchanges. I guess most of USD website buyers could totally ignore JWL and it's convertibility in BTC. They simply want tokens to use ingame.. (and they will spend part of them on Chris ingame shop refilling the tokens fund, that's why I think 5% is a bit high)
Also we should have stopped selling them CPS for USD (Later they buy more they will be pissed. Wouldn't you

Instead we're going to "impose" use of JWL tokens in game. How could players react?
1) Many of them, ( and among them most influent players, guild deputies are often the richer ones) will be pissed. They will try to ignore our tokens and keep trading for CPS, a kind of black market: typical issue of a dual currency country.
2) Eventually we should close CPS trading system in the market. Some player may leave, others will embrace new currency.
I may do not care if they leave if there a solid enough players base to substain such a drop. If we do not go under a certain "critical mass" we can recover.
Have we enough players? I doubt it: 250 players online does'nt mean 250 persons playing.
Everyone in Conquer has usually an archer for hunting stuff and a trojan for melee pvp. Do not forget a market character, or you can't sell stuff hunted with archer, to equip your favourite char. (so 80 persons is more realistic) Someone add a water tao for revive and guild wars (more experienced players) or a FireTao/Warrior, just for curiosity. Do not forget it's night somewhere, people may be sleeping, or at school, or whatever so these 80 people never play togheter, they're simply away form computer, for most of the day.
That's because characters you do not use are parked in Training Grounds gaining Experience Points hitting a pole: it's a 2004 game, very little resources are needed to run multiple inctances of it.
Seriously all of your characters are permanently in Training Grounds, except the one you're playing with..
Reduce the windowed game screen to taskbar, run another instance and you may "play" with 10 characters at once 24/7. You wouldn't notice any lag on your computer. When I was younger I used to leave 5 characters on TG, permanently, one for every class, plus one in the market.
So, I consider JWL as a future currency for rebirth project more than a ingame Conquer currency, and act accordingly.
