topps does some cool stuff, like these newer rip cards where topps hides small cards INSIDE big cards that you have to rip up to discover what's in there.

I trade and Gemini and you should too.
This last page is full of great ideas for utilizing the blockchain besides just sending coins with it. Its chat like this thats missing for 99% of the other threads, probably because 99% of the other altcoin threads are all scam pump and dumps for the most part. You can tell this community is being built with smart people and with a smart person foundation the shy truly is the limit for jewels.

Devs, are you going to open up and register a company going forward and if so would you consider letting the community vote for a representative from this community (ie investors) to be a director. That would be great for transparency.

In addition to in-game items have you considered creating any blockchain based assets?

You could for instance issue a special limited edition Apex Conqueror Collectors card/s in a manner similar to SOG/BitCrystals?

Maybe you can explain this to me because its something I don't understand and you brought it up.

I understand the desire to collect physical collecting cards (Baseball, basketball, magic, ect) but what is the desire to own the digital version of the card. I just don't see it.

- Physical cards can potentially be faked vs. blockchain based cards which can't if done properly.
- Blockchain cards will always be in pristine condition vs. being damaged/detoriating.
- Buying/Selling blockchain based cards globally is easier, safer and more convenient than physical.

Most importantly, as we become a more online and social media orientated society and the ways of displaying/show-casing your digital card collection online and via social media become enhanced then ultimately digital collections could potentially rival and one day surpass the appeal of physical ones.

We already have the example of BitCrystals/Spells of Genesis which has increased in value by >1800% in the last year and though I don't collect them I'm lead to believe their collectors cards have appreciated strongly in value too.

Later this month we will have the already popular Force of Will working with Counterparty and SOG to allow their 100k+ player base to utilize game items on the blockchain.

So there's certainly already been some success with blockchain based collectors items and bigger players are moving into the market too, indicating there's potential which even projects like Apex could perhaps capitalize on to a degree.

Thanks man, I understand it more now but even being a fan of blockchain I still cant get my head around it. I happen to collect Cards, Mostly sports and mostly rookie cards but I cant imagine a time in the future where I'm collecting these same cards in a digital form. And you listed it as a benefit that the cards are always in great condition but hunting out the best condition card from the 70's is part of the fun. Where is the fun with a perfect digital card. I just don't see myself getting there but I do know I need to do much more research on the matter. I do think blockchains can help to register ownership of sports cards. That I've already thought of and it could be very useful so when you trade a card you also trade its token of ownership. That would help keep fakes out of the market and help keep stolen cards out of the market as well, which would make the theft of collector cards not even worth it anymore.

Yeah, when TOPPS gets involved, blockchain will blow up! Cheesy  If anyone has the resources to do it like it should, it's topps.  Blockchains don't have to be about coins, topps could make their own blockchain with premined coins that act as a register for the card which is imprinted/deposited in QR which is Unique to not only that specific card type, but down to the individual card.  All have a different QR that can be used to identify authenticity.  Not as a way to increase value.

Possibly the rarest of cards have a special blockchain and/or can have special links for digital version that can only be gained through buying the physical version WITH the auth coin in the card still.

With the ICO's conclusion we would like to say a very big thank you to those who have chosen to support the Jewels project which will allow it to become a great success!

...Our plan as it currently stands is to continue discussions with Bittrex and have that be our first major listing.

Congratulations on a successful ICO. Getting on Bittrex at this stage would be ideal. So best of luck with that.

Official Jewels Dev Account.
With the ICO's conclusion we would like to say a very big thank you to those who have chosen to support the Jewels project which will allow it to become a great success!

Right now I am working with Chris to prepare the Apex website to allow for withdrawal of Jewels. While this may not be ready today, once it is we will be uploading the wallets source code to github, posting it publicly allowing everyone to download or compile desktop wallets and then reaching out to Bittrex and 1ex notifying them that the ICO has concluded and the source to our coin is now publicly available. Our plan as it currently stands is to continue discussions with Bittrex and have that be our first major listing.

If anyone has any questions feel free to either post or reach out on Slack as I'll be available all day.

Devs, can you give some insight on the below?

BTW why use a separate blockchain and not tokens like Spells of Genesis that are easier to manage from a generic Omni or Counterparty wallet? Is it to allow inflation via staking? If that's the reason, what would make inflation necessary here while it's not for SoG's BitCrystals?

Or to issue an asset on BitShares which Peerplays is on https://bitshares.openledger.info
There are many platforms where assets can be registered and traded: BitShares, NXT, Ripple, (someday maybe) Waves, Ethereum, Omni and Counterparty.
But so far, the most widely used in the altcoin world are Omni (MAID, AMP, AGRS, ) and Counterparty (BCY + SoG cards,  SJCX), and since they are widely used every exchange support them already and can trivially add support for a new asset, which also means that a new coin implemented as an Omni or Counterparty token will probably have less difficulty convincing an exchange to list them. It's also easier to get listed on coinmarketcap since all they need to do is track the asset on any Omni or Counterparty block explorer they already support.

Id like to hear a reply to that too.
From my analysis of CMC, getting listed on any exchange (even the smaller ones) will effectively allow CMC to list you.

With that said, there are 2 key reasons that we went the route we did which is the PoS factor which gives people a slight reward for continuing to hold their coins albeit this is not a required thing as shown by BCY. The other reason is many of the less established exchanges, take Yobit for example do not support listing NXT, BTS, etc. assets. Now Bittrex and Poloniex on the other hand are a different story and we can clearly see they have listed assets before. In the unfortunate scenario where the crowdfund didn't raise as much as it did, suppose it only raised 100 BTC or even 50 BTC it would be far more difficult to get listed on the higher tier exchanges as based off our current discussions with Bittrex it's far from as simple as "here's 3 BTC sir, can you now list us," where as with say Yobit it is that simple. It's clear both Bittrex and Poloniex hand pick what projects to add and require said projects demonstrate credability over time before adding them.

All in all what I'm saying is if we were in a position at the end of the ICO where getting listed on a tier 1 exchange seemed unlikely, we needed to be able to be easily listed on one of the other exchanges. Given that our coin is simply a clone of an existing PoS coin with minor modifications, it's not of great difficulty for any exchange to add it as it follows the pretty much exact same RPC api that Bitcoin uses.

i believe it costs 3btc to get listed on bittrex with spotlight (or 5). with the ico funds, i'm sure dev team can fork out that in exchange for a liquid tradable market for JWL on a reliable platform run by 2 security experts.

OP you might want to consider this..

Imo you don't need to actively pursue getting on any of the smaller exchanges like yobit, 1ex or coinexchange. ( they will have much lesser - less than 1-5% - of liquidity on bittrex ). Just focus on listing on Bittrex and everything should work out fine. Continue to do a good job developing the platform and managing the coin and community , and you'll eventually end up on Polo too.
I addressed this for the most part in the above question.

Can we expect to top PEERPLAYS price per coin in near future  Grin  that is $14

Peerplays only has 1m coins, Jewels has 20m, but if similar market cap would be achieved that would be awesome Wink .

Now to some serious talk. I think Chris will need any help he can take so when the Heroes start if someone has some writing skills / marketing skills / graphic skills  ... I don't think he would mind - if you invested it's in your best interest to help and get the word out.

Some themes on how we can help:

I have already created a simple banner if someone has somewhere to put it it would be great.

- Blog posts (Steemit, Medium, Reddit, MMORPG boards/forums, ... ) can help when Heroes launch.

- Google "Top conquer online servers" - we should get it listed on pretty much every web listing website.

- Someone has some gaming Twitter / Facebook accounts ? Don't forget to post / tweet

- Do we maybe have a Chinese speaker here who can help market new server to Chinese players or translate a few of unique features of new server and try to spread the word?

Remember we are family now and working together will help our investment grow be it a 0.01 BTC investment or 1 BTC investment it does not matter each one of you counts - that can double, triple and even more in a very short of time with a little contribution, remember 96 different deposit account on Apex ICO that means 90+ different people invested. A lot of potential skills, diversity to help! Someone might say well Chris has a lot of BTC for all of that. Yeah that is correct, but I think focus for that BTC should be on developing gambling games and project Rebirth - he will have a plenty of work ahead.
I'll direct this to Chris and see if there's a few places we can toss this banner up Smiley. Just for the record, I wouldn't worry too much about the 'top conquer online servers' a lot of those websites (as well as for other games like WoW) utilize bot services, or even pay people very low wages to vote for them to get their numbers up. Most people within the private server communities don't take them very seriously.

Maybe. Looking at the recent big ICOs the people lost interest after one month and then the whining starts and price falls to below ICO. It depends if anything concrete is delivered in the next week or two.

I want to give my opinion. The ico's you are thinking of that went that way had many thousand btc invested and still today have very little to show for it and this ico raised very little but has 2 working games with 1---'s of players online as we speak.

Its a whole different game with jewels because the dev and project are years if not a decade beyond the others.

Yeah Jewels was extremely good value relative to any other ICO I've seen in a while.

Poloniex, Bittrex, BTC38, Yunbi etc. already support BitShares based assets, (See BitCNY) so I don't think that's a big issue. If you ever tried to use the BitShares blockchain you'll see it's incredibly fast, transactions done in a few seconds etc. So personally BitShares would be no.1 for me as the speed and T/Sec also allows for blockchain based gambling and other advanced options that some projects may want to expand into like PeerPlays.

However given as you say SOG cards are already on XCP, soon Force of Will too, then XCP may be the best asset issuance option for a lot of projects if it's where all blockchain based players/collectors already are.
