What is the windows app to monitor s9's?

Perhaps you mean Awesome Miner?
I have that, they want $50 for ten miners.
I know there is one that is free that works well.

Think for yourself
Does anyone us the android app to monitor their miners? I'm having trouble getting it to connect. What is the proper formatting for the api/bitcoin address?

Greetings to ya all here on the Sunday....

Can anyone share some advice/info with me regarding which custom firmware is best for these S7's of mine and where to get it from...? Much appreciated!

PS: What about a block after party today....?!?!

Greetings to you!

I don't know the answer to your question as I've never flashed my S7's from the firmware they came with. I think the general rule of thumb is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Many people have bricked their S7's by flashing it. Not all, but a lot. Then you will most likely have to send it back to the factory for repair. Now if you're having problems, that's a different story and an option.

Additionally, you will get better answers in the hardware thread where this question should likely reside.

I'm ready for a block party after-party today. So far we're off to a slow start. But that could change on a dime! Smiley

Come on down, Blocks!!! Cheesy

Thanks for your answer/opinion I appreciate!

If 11 blocks is the record, yes we did, Smiley

Amazing.... as far as consistency goes, Kano is tops. With our total PH around 47-48PH... I hope 11-blocks parties will be more frequent  Cheesy

Well, on the low side of things... we do have consistently get those killer big red blocks too... but seems thats an indicator that we will have super green block parties shortly after ... if I recall, our previous 11-block record had the same scenario.

Gonna go the National Guard armory this morning in nearby Hanapepe village to spend a few hours with Kaua'i Fire Dept. assisting folks as the Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) are prepping for Tropical Storm Darby here. CERTs are civilians trained in urban search & rescue, trauma triage/adv first aid, limited firefighting, lifting/cribbing, and those of us who are hams manage comms & backup for EMS.

WOOHOO!!!  A shoutout to a FELLOW HAM!!!  I've held my extra class license since way back when I was 8 years old (I was a novice at 6).  I'm no longer active -- but I have fond memories and always renew the license.  We used to do the annual "Field Day" event where we camped out and used generators to contact as many people as possible around the world over the weekend -- back then we used my mentors (Charlie Wycoff) W8GP call sign.  I got one of the later 4 digit call signs -- and will NOT give it up.

I was SO FAST on the straight key (even faster on the paddle -- but couldn't afford one back then) -- that I was ALWAYS delegated to code.

I'm not sure if you are part of SKYWARN -- but with Darby coming on -- I'm sure that you are busy...

High fives -- Fist bumps -- whatever...

MINE ON!!!

Way cool...de AH6TA (Extra...I'm the W5YI-VEC FCC examiner for Kaua'i...I got my first license at 8 as well) and yeah, Skywarn is activated as of about 2200W tonight. I still do CW w/a bug just to stay up with it. We've got things like FLDIGI now, and we can transmit/receive documents via radio, on any band.

Mining is, you would think, a natural for a ham...but of all my ham friends (maybe 20), none are doing it but me...or at least they won't admit it.  Grin

Yup...mine on!

aaaand coincidentally the person on NH that's renting 4ph bumped his rental bid .01+  Roll Eyes

Sorry for slightly off topic....

But if you're going to rent, and haven't done so, you may want to check out MRR - miningrigrentals.com.

The prices may be a little bit higher sometimes, but you can choose what rigs to rent, type of equipment you want, at what speed and for exactly how long you want to rent. If your rental doesn't measure up, you can get a refund or communicate with the rig owner and negotiate a little more time.

None of that bidding and having your orders drop off - which can really screw up your 5ND if you aren't paying attention. You can also find some good deals. I have one rig I'm particularly fond of that always produces at least 104% above advertised speed. (maybe I should say at least 4% above advertised speed. LOL)

I used to use NH/WH, but once I started using MRR, I've not considered going back.

Just a heads-up if you haven't checked them out. Smiley

Edit: You can also choose your rental rigs based on past performance and their speed vs. advertised speed data. Makes it easier to make an informed decision.
Disclosure: No, I don't have any rigs for rent on any sites. But I know at least one of our pool members has a rig on MRR and I've had good results with them. Not naming any names for fairness sake. Smiley

Back on topic..... Happy block Sunday folks! Let's get the blocks rolling!  Cool Cool
