DE node just spat the dummy though.
Sorry about that, had to restart it to get it to reconnect to the main pool.
Everyone on DE will have failed over.
It's back OK now.

Edit: the cause was a network issue with linode, but it wouldn't reconnect without me giving it a kick.
... and I had to kick it again 10 minutes ago ... and as I was typing it disconnected again now.
I've raised a ticket with linode about 10 minutes ago ... awaiting a response ...

Edit: Meh - still no response from them.
Anyway - all is OK again for the last half an hour and the DE node is back up to it's usual 2PHs so all seems OK now.

TY. Was just wondering about that. I haven't used the other pools and don't need to, but still was curious how you had them connected.
Must be some crazy fast direct connection between the different nodes, eh?

Kano, are all the different nodes connected? I mean are they all working on the same block or are they competing.
No they aren't competing.

Edit: though I'll point out the obvious about competing - if you ran 2 pools that pooled the rewards, competing doesn't matter.
You can't ever get 2 block rewards at the same height, and getting one of two means you lost nothing.

Something up with the pool? All my miners went offline and to backups.
No. Check your internet.

Weird. It happened from 3 different colocations and my home miners, so it's not my internet.
Was up and down a bunch of times over a 30 minute period, like it couldn't re-aquire the proper vardiffs.

Went back to normal after I posted my question though. LOL

All of my S7s are mining at Kano, never failed over since the pool restart.

Well Smiley With that block, I'll do a ckpool restart (not ckdb)
There's an update with ckpool to fix a memory leak and it would be ideal to do that shortly.
CKPool restart will be in 30 minutes when the minute hand next hits 30.
Most (over 99%) of miners just see it as a reconnect in cgminer - so most shouldn't failover.
Done.
Total users and workers is already back to the count before the restart - so all went OK.
Hash rate takes a while to recover the value.

Should have restarted earlier.   Cheesy

I have a little more than 300 more GH on the pool while I burn in test a miner repair.

The repaste of the second blade in my previously sick SP20 was successful (+>200GH on blade 1 and +>100GH on blade 2).  The second blade didn't go as good as the first (I didn't get a back ASIC hit a remarkable 749 like I did on the first blade), but what I did get is more than reasonable.  For the first time ever this miner can hit 1609GH in a 24C room which makes it one of my better performing SP20 miners.  I think I would have gotten even more out of it except a couple of the DC/DC converters are running high in amps.  Those ASICs, despite not being at full temperature, are hitting a "DC limit" wall in the 710 neighborhood.  I notice that SP20s tend to throw more DCl as they age and this one has quite a long history (I got it from eBay and I'm probably the fourth owner based on the stack of shipping labels).

Too bad I'll be retiring this one soon due to diff increases.  It's my first and only block finder.

There are a fair number of these questions re reward payouts...understandably, if one is also fairly new to pool mining. IMHO, kano.is is one place you don't need to worry about reward payouts. They'll get there. Patience. Kano is "Master and Commander..." and he's on the far side of the world to most of us (not me, but I'm plunk in the middle of the Pacific about 5,000 km from Adelaide). If you have problems with your configurations, you can get decent and reliable advice via here, or the newer support thread. Mine on.  Cool
