hi guys,

i've opened an account at ckpool and i started minning without entering any payment adress. As a result of this, i missed out about 10 block payments of 0.02btc/block.
Does anyone know if there is a way to reclaim those payments?

Ask me to ...
The BTC isn't lost, just gathering in your 'dust' fund.
If there's enough I'll consider doing a manual payout ...

--

Meanwhile we clearly must be finding too many blocks ...
The pool hash rate has steadily dropped over the last 2.5 hours from 19.5PHs to 13.4PHs ... but it is now picking back up.
Clearly someone doesn't like getting lots of BTC ...

That's worst.  I know I hate making BTC!

It's definitely an interesting phenomenon when the pool's hash rate drops right after finding a bunch of blocks!
No it's since before the last block was found ...

what about prices at mining rig rentals ?

They're generally always higher than nicehash.  The benefit is that you can generally know what kind of rigs are hashing for you (versus nicehash who just sends an appropriate hash rate but you have no idea if its a bunch of 500gh miners or a number of S7s or whatnot)

Did you change your miners to mine with your account.worker? or are your miners still set to your BTC address? funds are not lost in any case (unless a wrong address is entered by user).

EDIT: nevermind my post, kano is here to help.  Grin

I am in for .01BTC or more or whatever the majority here decide to the 500th block finder.

where did 7PH/s dissapeared???people dont wana find 500th block fast Sad

Rentals and scripts.  Some big Fish is renting 13TH on both Nicehash (5PH) and Westhash (8PH) at high prices to flush out the little fish.  That drains all the users renting hashing power pointing at pools like ours.  Double whammy is that at those high prices, password scripts will draws all the machines at large farms like my partners to failover to those high paying PPS once it's above certain prices.

I don't understand renting. Rent is higher than expected payot with rented haspower, so what is the point?

Canan please post your BTC address to receive 500th block finder fee  Smiley

canaan is part of the Avalon group (I think) so they might not take the donation or even monitor this forum. Perhaps kano could intervene if people wish to donate.

Well, then I will donate to Kano and -CK first and will hear about canaan-the-500th-block-finder

Maybe we keep it going for block 501, 502 etc until someone under 250TH finds a block. I think they would appreciate the donation more then a PH miner. Whatever is decided I'm fine with. Sending .01 to Kano and .01 to CK. Waiting to hear what we decide on the block finder.

True and some larger players, may not want too many small transactions as well since it will just cause more accounting work.  If Canaan respond, I will send, else I would just continue piling it up to the 501th block winner that is under 100TH as the reward is more substantial to the smaller players.
