You're configuring kano (or any other) pool in your S4, but it gets overwritten by what's in the screenshot?  You've been hacked.

That's horrible news. What can I do to get past this and back on track?
I'd also suggest you contact not-so-nice-hash immediately and get them to block the address

Um... well, you might want to flash the firmware as a first step.  Go to S4 Firmware to get it from Bitmain.

Also, make sure you don't have that miner exposed to the outside world (i.e. you don't have port forwarding to it).  Change the password for sure.

I've already flashed the latest firmware image, reset many times, and reset the password. However, I have not done all of those things at one time so to start how can I close off port forwarding?

Wow, where did you get the miner? Maybe seller flashed it with his own info but looking at the address your not the only one this is happening to, this hacker made over 8btc so far with this hack.

Glad to see the pool having a lucky day today! Now if I could just win the Powerball tomorrow.....  Shocked
Great way to start the weekend with all these blocks.

If I win power ball I'm building myself a little bicoin mining farm.  Yee-haw!

Same here, hit the Powerball and buying 500 SP50's and building a hanger in greenland. Kano will be 10% of the network very shortly

Reset it to factory defaults and change pasword at first id guess, reflash firmware iff it persists as it should be in the code somewhere

BTC Help, please. Kano sent me from the IRC Node to ask for help in solving this problem.

I have recently switched from another pool to Kano's (kano.is) because I was having this problem and now it is occurring on kano.is. I am registered on the site and have put in the stratum .3333 at kano.is for my configuration. And then of course I click save and apply. However, immediately upon doing so, this screen appears.

Whenever this screen pops up I am immediately disconnected from the pool that I have (in this case kano's) put into my miner's configuration page whereas kano's URL was showing up under my status page's pool URL section. Now this Mr. Nice Hash appears. I have tried resets and reboots, disconnected the power, and shut down my miner altogether. The problem persists. I've got an s4. Please advise. Thank you.

Guys,

Do you buy your devices straight from china or from the US ? Im located in europe but the communication with the guys from china is lacking and i cant order psu's for some strange reason.

Ive found articles sayin a certain Yoshi sells them in the US but the sites seems old and outdated.
If you call bitmain denver they will set you up.
