Go Big or Go Home.....
Awesome. Since hitting the pool with the 300TH 77 shifts ago, I have got 5 blocks, about 0.715BTC. Already 40% profit and my shifts are not gone yet from that rental.

Nice Job! Wink

27% block, man I'm glad I rented that 10TH right after we hit that 400% block.

How many shifts before any hashes disappear?

My 300TH rental is still well up there and has paid more than it's cost already with the 4th Block found since I hit the pool with it.

It's at shifts 76 or so right now. How many more before it is not used anymore? Is that what the 130Hour Plus thing is for?

Also, looks like Westhash has crashed since their prices went up yesterday. All my miners went to secondaries a bit ago and westhash's price is in the toilet again.  Cheesy

Noob Question Alert

If I set up my account with username "Mirahan" and have my miner set up to mine to BTC Address 1G89H4qjVgtTt6PBzSAdvGu11pBi9RhrRc_worker, and I have BTC address properly entered into "mirahan" account setting, am I all set to go?

When I look at the pool stats my BTC address shows ~1 TH/s on average, so I see that I am contributing.

Just want to make sure I haven't fouled up my set up somehow and should be using account username as worker address in miner interface.

I love this stuff, glad I started ... but I know I am late the party. Still fun tho!

yeah that made me a winner and I think I grabbed full amount about .108

So the 100 shifts will now be winding down and any more hits will be under that 0.108 payoff.

To anyone renting kanos 199 shift page is a great tool to keep track of the rentals.  I advertise for Nicehash-westhash so I will be biased to rent with them. But many other renting options are out there.

My 100 shifts were almost all under the current rate for 1 th. I wanted to do a 500% rental about 145-175 shifts,

but at 88 shifts price for renting got higher so I did  100 shifts the last 12 or so were higher then the current rate.  All in all I was close to an exact match in rates before the 2% fee charge by nice-west hash.  so with that fee and with kano's small fee I should have lost 3% on my investment. I made more then that.
In fact I could do great since I have more then 100 hours of earning power left.
I will post the payments as they come.

Edit

I did some quick math and I think I am at 475% on the oldest rental  so I have 4 to 8 hours of full earnings.

If lady luck is with you it should be happening any minute now Tongue

I wish I would of kept track of my long term rental as you did, stared in the middle of block 348799 some time and basically ended just after 4ce4u akatsuki. Riding the low end of price makes it tricky because there are nights sleeping that rental hash drops to nothing. The rule of thumb I stick to is if I can rent for less than the expected 1TH a day earnings, rent away! I threw in about .7 and ended up around .9, not a bad return.

Thanks for openly posting your current rental progression! Currently the price is way to high to open new orders in range, I have a few sitting idle waiting. Is there some new altcoin I don't care about launching? This price spike hast to be for something, and it's not diff.

Anyway, thanks!

I bailed on the rentals as price rose  the last rental ended on 3-29-2015

there are 97 shifts older then these  I think some are falling off the earning power status.

I would love to grab a block right now as I just may have a few hours of 100 shifts all earning left.

Since the first shift it has been 165 passed     so  165 x 45 minutes = 123 hours  very close to the 500% level  at least  415% has passed.  At most I have 4-8 hours of full earnings  which are in the 0.108 - 0.109 number. each block.

Last night I had a dream that my miners were down.  It turns out it wasn't a dream-- I woke up this morning to a dead Internet connection and 9 shifts with 0 hash!

The bad part is I don't know exactly what happened yet.  The problem was on my end-- my firewall became unresponsive.  This morning it was unpingable and every switch port was flashing away like crazy in unison like a broadcast flood.  The only thing running during the night was the miners so nothing should have set off a broadcast storm (or whatever appeared like one), nor has it ever happened before.  After power cycling the firewall everything returned to normal.  I'm left scratching my head as to what happened (and worried it will happen again).

Anyway, my 6T is back.

Ouch! That's a bad dream...  Have you updated the firmware on the firewall lately?  If not give that a try, maybe its a bug that they have fixed in a later fw version.

Go Big or Go Home.....
Have the firewall on a nightly reboot. Unless you're using a Sonicwall or other pro FIrewall/router you need to have them autorestart at least every couple of days for optimal performance.

Cisco ASA, so that is probably not it.  Uptime isn't a problem for the ASA-- sometimes I wish it would die so I could replace it with something more friendly, but it just keeps on going!

Yeah that should be ok. Although I've seen SPI on those cause issues.

so basicaly if one restarts the miner the dust becomes valuable duff and will be paid out???
Well, the dust has no loss of value, just it wont be paid out to anyone until I've made the 2 changes needed.
Your total dust is above the dust limit (10,000) so it would be payable in the default way I'll be using to semi-automatically handle dust bunnys - dust build up Smiley

Just think of it like an extra bonus, one day you'll wake up and there will be a few more satoshi in your wallet.
