...I will show you the jersey shore the way it is meant to be seen.
You from North Jersey or South Jersey?  Might explain our strong differing opinions. Tongue I don't live anywhere near either now, but I'm originally from Chatsworth and later Barnegat.

Heh I may as well ask Cheesy
Anyone in Montreal?

valkir and herbpean
I'm here for a few days - but I'll leave it to them to see this and contact me if they want Smiley
If you are ever on Oahu and interested, I will treat you to lunch at the least. Cool

And if you ever come to New Jersey  I will show you the jersey shore the way it is meant to be seen.

It's funny how anyone can make notations on any chart they want and make it appear to say anything they want.  They think their crystal ball is better than everyone else and anyone that laughs be damned.
I did click on the link and found one of them hysterical ... the '6 month' lead in to after segwit Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
No doubt if it had been 12 months before the graph went up, they would have replaced '6' with '12' on the graph Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

...But you saying im wrong does not mean im wrong...
True, but your being wrong does mean you're wrong.  Cheesy
...You are the one making unsubstantiated claims by the way. You are talking about how segwit will crash price 50% and what not...
Pretty sure I was upfront about my inability to support that belief.  Roll Eyes
...These two charts give a good picture of what the lack of segwit activation and thus crippling bitcoin is doing to the market...
Ironic that the rise in Eth matches the rise in CO2 in the atmosphere; will that be your next claim (that the non-adoption of segwit is ruining the planet)?

Ah yes, kano is now resorting to censorship because he feels bad for not signalling SegWit....
While I'm usually the 1st to call him out on deleting, the fact is that you don't have a case. You're wrong (on too many levels to get into). Not only are your repeated and reiterated segwit claims unsupported by you, they are supportable because they are all just a matter of speculation.

...PS. if you delete any more of the posts i will post about your behavior on reddit.
No adult gives a rat's ass about what some random crybaby on reddit has to say.
Lulz I've delete most of his posts before now also ...
Wooo I'll see my name on reddit again Smiley
Hopefully he'll include the Kill la Kill quote Cheesy

...Besides, miners are not letting bitcoin prosper thats my point, are you even listening?...
OK, you're all about "price", how is the fact that 24 months ago the price was less than 10% of what it is now something that isn't "prosperous"?

Hi, ... Jack shit. Sad.
Sigh - ruined my breakfast Tongue

You clearly are a moron.
You keep ranting about how my decision not to signal SegWit on this pool is going to be the end of Bitcoin.
Awsome! I have the power to destroy Bitcoin ... I feel like I'm now elevated to evil manga protagonist level Smiley
"Fear is freedom! Subjugation is liberation! Contradiction is truth! Those are the facts of this world! And you will all surrender to them ..."

...

I have repeatedly explained why I do not wish to signal SegWit.
You clearly are unable to read or are just a complete troll. Which is it? ... and I wonder which other accounts you have here on the forum Smiley

I'll go back and delete your posts yet again.

I have no doubt that the 1st segwit clusterf@ck (yes, we will get stuck with it someday, unless someone devs a new, popular wallet that isn't Core; and, yes, there will be at least one massive clusterf@ck with it) will send the BTC/USD price downwards by no less than 50% of whatever it is at that time.
Of note: I have no evidence to support my downward-spiral belief other than my gut and trading experiences.

...Miners figured out activating segwit on litecoin was a good idea. And look how well they have done for themselves. The price of that coin increased 10 fold...
Setting aside that Bitcoin isn't Litecoin, that this has been discussed far too many times on this thread already, and that the pool op has already expressed concerns with both segwit code and implementation ad nauseam ....
The price of BTC one year ago was 17% of what it is now (and that was 2x what it was the year before). I'm going to go out on a limb and say, "Bitcoin, while it does need improvements, is doing just fine without segwit".  Wink

Just let it be clear that if bitcoin price starts dumping it will be because miners did nothing but count their blocks until price collapsed, and at that point it will be too late to correct the ship. Certainly going to be a long time until bitcoin gains momentum again (if ever).
Just let it be clear that the bitcoin price will start "dumping" at some point; it's called a "market correction". And while price may be an indicator of something, it's not everything. Anyone with a handful of cash or a vault of old coins (from when CPUs were king) could get bored and shoot or dump any coin at any given time.

Hey we agree and I will go 1 more step  it is providing  a reason for the continued growth of Alt coins.

Basically the reason is 16 million coins  in wallets that can be accessed with a password.  Are easy pickings for alt coin miners.

I think it scares people to see  BTC at 44% of the market  when it was at 70% of the market.  In reality it is big and its growth has slowed a bit.
Think of a young mother duck  being followed by it babies.  Those babies have a lot to catch up. The young mother has a little more growth to go.

If Bitcoin really can't survive without constant micromanaging the it is a failure and should be allowed to die.

But, as history has shown, it is a success as is, and as was, and can and will continue to prosper, if allowed to.

*edit* I know i am probably being annoying. But you are being annoying too.

I'm glad you know your annoying.  Now only if you understood why.

You, and many others, can't comprehend simple economics which was the cornerstone of Bitcoin.
