I just looked at my Shift Graph page and it shows a more than 20TH drop right after that last block. Huh??
My miners are all OK and running at expected hash and my workers page shows all is well.

Anyone else have this happen?
Thanks!

I had an unexplainable almost 20 th drop a few days ago. When I seen it in the shit graph it looked just like if I had shut down the miners. But had no power outages and nothing in the config page showing they even had any sort of fall over take place.  So I chalked it up to my internet connection possibly going down for a few mins.

wmabern  I was haveing some major heat issues last weekend when it got really hot up here in ny and my garage were I have my 3 S9s was cooking hot.   A window fan was not helping very much to get the heat out.   Then I moved them all to a shelf closer to a window which helped a lot to just blow most of the hot all straight out the window but also know I could not keep em that way in case of hard rain blowing in and some of the hot air was still staying in the garage. So i pulled them back on the shelf and then added some of them 3d printed fan shrouds and about 2 foot of dryer hose to each on and now have the hoses going directly out the window and let a few inchs of the hose stick out so they point down a and no rain can get in to them now at all.  and my air temps in the garage is only about 5 degrees more than the outside air temp at the hottest point in the day.  The only thing left for me to do is put in the pcs of wood I intend to use to cover the window and stick the hoses threw for added rain or snow protection.

Cool. I need to setup something like that with the ducting in the coming weeks to prepare for a hot summer. My only problem is that the two air intake windows are not opposite the only exhaust window I have. It would also take about 20+ feet of ducting for each miner. If I owned the property I would make some room modifications. Since I don't I can't. But I'll figure it out. Smiley

P.S. Love the Dead stickers on your window. I started following the boys in 1977.  Grin Grin Grin

lol the danceing bears were on the window when we moved in back in 2000. Tho ive been a fan of the boys since the mid 80s.

If you do any sort of set up with the hose try to keep them as short as you can by getting them as close to the exhaust window as you can get them and then as far as make up incoming air. If you're inside a house just make sure you have a way for enough incoming air to be able to come in from outside so you dont get negative pressure in the room. which can be really bad if you have any type of heating system or any thing in your house producing carbon monoxide that can end up being sucked in rather then going out the chimmy.

April keeps rolling along!  Cheesy

Yeah it's been a very kind April considering the difficulty increases and I'm loving the GREEN!!!!

I'm so glad I pointed all of my miners back to Kano on March 31!

I spent most of the afternoon and evening yesterday breaking all of my miners down and gave each one a very, very good cleaning inside and out. They were FILTHY inside! (I shamefully admit I haven't done this in the time I've had then - almost a year.)  Sad

I rented about 6 hours worth of 50TH hash to make up for my miners being off-line.

I took both fans off of each and cleaned each fan thoroughly with a toothbrush, a damp rag, a nice electric blower from work. The fans are now almost spotless. I took each hash board out one by one, cleaned the fins with the toothbrush - the intake end was filthy with caked on dust and grim - I then blew out any remaining dust. Then wiped down the aluminum chassis one by one inside and out.

I'm happy to report I am now able to run the S9's in the coin room without the intake box fans in the windows. Because it's raining pretty hard right now, has been all night, and is expected to rain for the rest of the day.

Previously, I would have had to shut the miners down because of the rain. But they are now running cool enough to forgo the window fans. I just moved the miner racks farther away from the windows and they are chugging away at a nice temperature  ~50-52 TH hash rate. (The highest chip temp of the four S9's is 96C on one board.

Looks like I will be able to keep them online during the frequent spring and summer rain storms around here.

Sorry if this is a bit OT. But it IS about my BTC miners running on Kano at a steady and now, continuous hash rate!

Just when things are getting interesting...gotta shut down both the 721 and 741 here at home and give them a thorough cleaning. It's been 90 days, and of course we're running in the tropics here. I've had no issues with actual overheating on any of my Avalons, so long as I clean them as often as I did the BM hardware.

FWIW...the 741 has consistently run cooler/cleaner than the 721, They're a bunch different internally in their cooling configs. Interesting. Glad to see the pool where it's at.  Kiss

Hey guys I've just checked the BTC prices on Coinbase $1248 and Poloniex $1329, how can there be such a big variance?  Or is the Coinbase just got greedy lately?  Their ether prices are lower as well but not like the BTC.  Can anyone explain?  Huh
There are several exchanges and most have different prices listed. Your point? It is an open market place with no one body or group that tells what the going rate is. http://bitcoinity.org/markets/coinbase/USD gives a good listing of rates at the major exchanges.

If anything, buy some BTC on Coinbase or the others and resell it on Polonex or whoever., Got a feeling the tX fees will heavily bite into profits...

Nice site, thanks!
The problem isn't comparing 1 site to another, it's comparing 2 different pairs on 2 different sites. USDT is not USD. When 1USDT is < or > 1USD there will be a disparity in comparing BTC/USD (which is US dollars) and BTC/USDT (which is a coin).

I see, thanks for the info!
