It may have minimal to nothing effect on the value of bitcoin in the market. But the mere fact that one of the most recognizable person in the world is into bitcoin is free publicity.

Whatever the influential person says is a gift to someone else, even if the one out of his mouth is dirt.
Bitcoin is well known, but there are still many people who do not understand about the world of cryptography and I think it's good enough to promote bitcoin to a layman. Maybe some of his fans are also trying to buy bitcoin.

and why the hell do we have to worry if he spoke or did not speak? bitcoin already has a great popularity and eventually everyone will know about bitcoin so do not need to be surprised when some famous talk about bitcoin, we need that people buy bitcoin, use bitcoin and get interested in technology, we need to fend off the scammers who are messing bitcoin and this kanye west does not seem to me to be very well in psychological terms, I mean it looks like it's in a different world, maybe I'm wrong

It does not matter if 95% of the population knows about Bitcoin already. It's always good for people in the public eye to mention Cryptocurrencies so that, eventually, it will reach that 5% who did not know about it before. Smiley Kanye West does have a huge following, so it could reach quite far in his following. Katy Perry is also a ginormous supporter of Bitcoin!

Sorry, don't know why the image tags are not working, but it's an image of Katy Perry's Crypto nails. Grin

whether he mentioned or not, bitcoin is still there and nothing major changes.
Things like this, publicity, can cultivate a sense of curiosity and drive people to find out more about Bitcoin and eventually join if they understand what Bitcoin is. There are also people who only follow, either follow the idol or the trends to look cool.

Treat People How You Would Like To Be Treated.
Who cares if some this @sshat mentioned Bitcoin?

He is irrelevant, he is part of the problem. His "masters" are the same people that run the system / the establishment which feeds the financial elite. This is the same system/establishment that cryptocurrency seeks to destroy.

I really don't know if hearing bitcoin shills from a person like Kanye is a good thing; knowing that Kanye recently made some 'interesting' and definitely questionable statements saying that "slavery is a choice". Any publicity is good publicity, I guess?
With this video, can make his fans to join in this venture that could make Bitcoin become more unstable and well ... for normal people in general should not consider the words that come out of his mouth is a serious thing.

From many artists who have Bitcoin and why is Kanye West so special? Is it because he is a role model for hypebeasts? lol. Yes is a famous person, but Bitcoin is already well known but there is still a problem of public misunderstanding about Bitcoin, well maybe with this video the hypebeasts might participate in this venture.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Kanye West mentioning of the B word makes no sense to me.Why should we worry? He's famous I agree with that but I think he has no idea about cryptocurrencies
While I do not think that we should worry too much about a particular famous person mentioning bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, at the same time it is a small signal that showed to us that cryptocurrencies are not as obscure as so many people think, also while a significant amount of people already know of the existence of bitcoin even if they have not invested in it, is always a good thing to spread awareness about it.

I wouldn't think much about his statement as his current statement about slavery proves how much knowledge he has about world affairs.
Add the fact that he only mentioned bitcoin in a short time frame and the rest of the video speaks about his subjective point of view on Slavery, Obama, and Mental Health. Either way, it won't impact the market even if he mention bitcoin or not in that interview(because he only mentioned it for about 2-3 seconds while the interview lasted for more than 2 hours). For this reason, I think this doesn't need much attention since it is insignificant.

Mentions from popular people can in a way help the spread the popularity of Bitcoin which can lead soon for it becoming a household name just like having a dollar or a euro. This is a good thing so that people will not anymore be looking at Bitcoin as sort of a mysterious object that has to be avoided all because some people are talking about it as a tool by the scammers or even as a way to finance terrorism.

Though to some this things are not of  importance but this could help us increase the number of bitcoin community members. Kanye West is a popular individual and if we make some memes or taglines or qoutation with his name under it and spread it across the social media his fans could also be joining and buy some bitcoins. Though this is funny but its worth trying.

Wow, that is a very good news.  It's gonna be superb.

many people already know about bitcoin

I never said anyone needs to worry about anything.. Secondly you are naive if you think bitcoin is popular when less than 5percent of the worlds population knows about it.
