Yes, there’s a lot here, and yes it’s pretty technical. It doesn’t help that there’s a current shortage of security professionals with the skills needed to address these types of issues. So doing it right will almost certainly not be easy or cheap. At the industry’s present level of readiness, I’ll be pretty surprised if a bank doesn’t get hit at some point.
