it seem not the same one, Mercatox is token, in coinexchange is Kayicoin, they also is using in the same name but all is not same thing.
They are the same, it's just that in Mercatox it's already in erc20, coinexchange swap will happen in February.

I sent over 120,000 coins from mercatox and cryptopia to coinexchange... feeling very uneasy about this as it cost me nearly $1000 and there is nothing notifying me on coinexchange that they received them. Could you get C/E to at least have them show up in wallet and show "pending exchange" or something?

I put a lot of money into another coin on Cryptopia and then it had stopped for 5 days until it reopened again with a new price (it was a new higher price so I sold some yay
).I would just wait a few days until trading is open again; I'm fairly certain they are working on it and it will be available soon.

What i got as an answere after 2 weeks from the Cryptopiateam:
**Please be advised that this is an automated response due to the high volumes of tickets and requests received regarding KAYI/KAYIT coins**
KAYI did a coinswap on the 17th of September from a WAVES asset, to a POS coin. Users with the old coin would have had a balance under the ticker KAYIT after the swap. A notice was put onto the News page informing users of how they could swap their coins for the new KAYI.
The KAYI development team have since decided they would like to swap their coin again to an ERC20 token. However, our team and theirs have both agreed not to list this new coin on our site.
Due to this new coinswap, we will have to delist the current KAYI coin as it will no longer be a valid coin after the swap. Currently the markets have been paused, but will be closed once the delisting process starts. If you have any open orders of KAYI currently, please cancel them as soon as possible, and withdraw your coins.
If you had the old KAYI coins (named KAYIT after the first swap) then unfortunately we are not able to recover any balances that were remaining. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience, frustration or losses that this may have caused. Exchange wallets should never be considered reliable long-term storage for coins.
KAYIT was removed off our site in October so we are unable to exchange these anymore. All users with a KAYI balance should withdraw their coins to avoid losing these after it is fully delisted.

You can try to trade them for BTC or WAVES in the DEX tab of the wallet.

i tried to deposit kayi-eth coins on mercatox exchange but it shows address not_available. any idea please what can i do now? i already contacted support but no reply.
Why is this coin swapping needed. Is there any fundamental reason to be done or it is just in order to get on coinexchange.io?
If i already obtained new Ethereum-based Kayi token, can i transfer those to coinexchange.io and trade - or i need to wait until 28.02?
