It's true I agree with you, when the market goes down and reaches a really low value don't panic. Usually beginners will panic first, you have to be able to control your emotions well. Think about buying cheap coins at a time like that. If you don't believe in Bitcoin because you have failed before, try to give it another chance until you succeed. No one knows how the next market conditions could be in front of a profit or victory that awaits you.

Beginners usually panic because most of them bought their bitcoin stash at a higher price level. So once the btc price goes down, they are in paranoid when will they get their profits. However, if you are long time crypto user, you have seen a lot of up and down movements already, and you are now used to it and possibly know already the strategy on how to take advantage of this scenario.

Is only newbies that would expect the market to keep up going bullish without having a reset. The market can not keep going up without retracing a little or changing trend.
People who expect the market still bullish aren't newbies only, they are the people who miss the chance to sell their coins previously. Pure newbies even expect the market to be bearish because they want to buy crypto coins. You are right that the market cannot always be in a bullish phase, it needs to move to a bearish phase or to have some corrections before the next uptrend. That's how the market works, there is a time for bullish and there is a time for bearish.

Are there really people who newbies in trading crypto currency here? If actually they are is it trading issue that actually brought them here. Am saying this because if one is new to trading and you are looking for where you will learn trading crypto currency I think this place that should come mind should be a crypto currency exchange and not really here. I have seen in so many post here where people will give a trading advise and will end up saying you have to do your own research which simply means that they are not sure of their own advise.

Quick question.

Have you ever bought the dip, but then the price breaks through the support and continues dropping deeper for weeks or months?  Grin
Well, I have done it before.

Sometimes when it happens like this it is no one's fault,  the only thing to be done is to just keep calm and wait, every dip will surely rise up. To me in a case whereby it still goes dip I think I will buy more. Going  dip is not a time to panic but can also be an opportunity.

That is always an opportunity but somehow many were just about to neglect to buy for they are worried that the market will drop more in the next day. Such a scenario can't also be prevented due to its volatility but we mostly notice that it pumps after the corrections. If we are too close and check the market trend every day, it is possible it will increase our worries that is why we shouldn't do it especially this bearish time, we'd rather make other stuff in order for us to keep calm.

Well, I have done it before.

The problem may not be panicking but may be determining the actual dip before a pump.
Not every dip is worth buying

Yes but in altcoin not in bitcoin, I've sometimes bought the coins when the dip comes but it actually keeps going lower and lower so I sold my coins for 50% losses and buy again when the coins started to stable for a week. Well maybe I was in rush that time because I dont want to miss the train but I learn from there that we shouldn't panic to buy the dip.

Tried it as well with altcoins many times in the past. I have to lose a lot before I learn the hard way that it's hard for altcoins to dominate. It's not fun to see investment drained while you could have profited with BTC going up.

There must be another quick dip soon to retest that $40,000 support. It's sure to be a good time to buy BTC when you are awake when that takes place.

It's nothing to be ashamed of. That happens to the best of us. This is because nothing is really absolute when it comes to cryptos. It's a highly speculative industry and we should always expect the unexpected. What makes for Support can later turn to Resistance and vice versa. Remember, there's something called weak and strong support levels. Even strong support levels do also get broken if price hits at it repeatedly. I've even had a few situations where I caught the proverbial falling knife and those projects eventually disappeared into thin air.

Is only newbies that would expect the market to keep up going bullish without having a reset. The market can not keep going up without retracing a little or changing trend. The crypto market is similar to every other financial market exhibiting the same patterns of market features with similar price patterns. At the end of January, I expect the market to go above $50K per Bitcoin.

Yea it will be great if bitcoin and others can go lower because with 40k price still does not satisfy me enough to buy more  Cheesy. There's still a lot more days we should wait if we trust the bitcoin will go down more than now and don't forget to use your money that you can afford to lose so if you buy @40k price and it keeps down you won't feel down on your mentality because you feel regret when bought @40k.
Many were hoping for the price to step up but it was opposite to you. But, I was on your side, I'm still looking for the dump and ben bearish again to take the chance of buying a cheaper price but unfortunately, we can't control the market and the volatile nature remain. That was too clear to see that the market moves in different directions and we never know where it goes, and this is obviously the result of our actions as we are not all in the same direction as well.

Overall I can't see any reason why BTC should stay under 50k level next resistance will be around $70k levels if bulls can take price from here.
Hopefully it will be as is as what you've said. $70k as the next support would be amazing and high.

But we just can't see that at most times since we haven't reached to that point. If it will do then that's the next ATH that we're going to have. As of the moment, everyone should be happy that bought at the dip.

Now, it has to break $44k barrier that shall give another positive look to the market from those who are disappointed.
Bitcoin has been seeing good signs right now since its price is making a slow increase but we should not just easily jump on a conclusion that its going nowhere but only reaching its new ATH. If we can see the current situation right now, the market is experiencing some price decline so i think its better to fill our bag first with our prospects than to aim for bitcoin reaching its new peak. I know for sure bitcoin will achieve its new heights but i see less chances right now. While waiting for it, why don't we just buy at the dip and continue to enjoy the ride while its still on hand. After this, when we see bitcoin's new ATH, then its time to sell and get our rewards.
There's nothing wrong to think of the positive speculation since it's slowly moving up.

We know that it's full of surprises and sometimes it's all that we need, some positive speculations that we're going to like as we're waiting for the next big move that it might do.

Everyone will be selling when it's on the top but don't sell all that you have, bitcoin is the exit for the others already.

Not an experienced trader so what I understand is the current market will be in uptrend and possibly hit the 43 which will be tested if it will break or not? I use the same method, the Fibonacci but in smaller time frames so in 4 hours and daily what I see is it will be in an uptrend and the dip to 40k was a good chance to buy.

I've been using the same method as well and I must say that we're on the right trend to buy. It might not be the definite dip yet it would be profitable if we'll buy this season. While others are panicking, wise traders and investors are now taking the situation as an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a lower price.

Buying now is good because eventually bitcoin will be bullish again and will break the current all-time high. however, if you are looking for a cheaper price and you believe that we are already in the bear market, then it's right to be a little bit patient and wait for more dip.

Well as a professional trader keeping you're self calm is the most important, there is always dip and we never know it until such time that we already loss some of our asset. For the professional they keep buying the dip but for newbie they keep selling their holdings because they are afraid that they loss more assets.
tranquility is included in the psychology that really needs to be managed. psychology will be trained when doing a lot of trades and with a lot of experience. The professionals of course have done the analysis before buying deep. In contrast to beginners who continue to do a count of buying at a lower price and continue to do so. The actual deep price must be precise. There is much to be done, namely capital management, risk management and psychological management, we also have to have plan A and plan B.

Keeping yourself calm is the first step that will determine the success of your trading process. But the most important thing that beginner traders must do is to study the market and have the actual experience of trading their cryptocurrencies.

Like driving, no matter how many times you read books on how to successfully drive a manual transmission car, you will never get used to it without experiencing it first hand. Similarly in trading, getting to research about the market, applying what you have read and trading into different cryptocurrencies is the key in order to at least reduce the chances of losing from your investment.

Yeah, professionals are not easily misguided by market fluctuations whereas naïve investor and traders are. Creating false chart patterns is a kind of trick by whales to manipulate the market which mostly ending up collecting individual's bitcoins by whales and institutions.

BTC seems to be bullish now. Market in this January may be still down, but hopefully, soon we will see the green market. I have bought the dip.
There are plenty of days left in this January month, hence the are possibilities to have net positive growth; buy current dips is recommended by most analysts still should not buy for all your funds; have plans for DCA.

Yes, that's right, the downturn in the crypto market caused panic, including myself. But I realized that it was time to buy a coin that did have good prospects to hold. Holding coins does need patience because we have to be able to wait until the price goes up again. No one knows how the crypto market is therefore the crypto market is unpredictable. Personally, I learned from the mistake that selling my crypto in a panic when the market was going down cost me a lot. Therefore when the market is crashing I choose to hold it for a while.
