Ok by show of hands who listened to the original poster and bought in the dip ?

‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♂️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♂️‍♀️

Almost none I bet.  When will I learn to take good Advice?

I've bought in dips over last month or three.   Beauty of it is, only you determine what is a big enough dip; with prices that can span 200-800 dollar swings in any day you can make nice profit on a $200 dip, it doesnt have to be a $1,500 dip to make money

very good point.
i have always tried to reflect this in my topics and i hope some people took the advice and made a move on this opportunity that was provided to us. you can always stay on the sides and watch the movements before jumping in but the important matter is to jump it and not be greedy.

i see people always waiting for lower prices. and when their target is reached they start waiting for more lower prices and their wait will become forever because that second lower price never comes.
in this scenario when price hit $3000 they were waiting for $2000 instead of buying!!!

You are showing yourself as a guy who always repeat "wasn't I telling you that!?". But you see, all this deeps are big money actually to buy Bitcoin, so it's normally that everybody is waiting to see some lower price. It is always like that. If to talk about myself even 200$ per BTC was high price to me. But I don't create any plans about buying of some bitcoins. Better I will put some on a side and this is going to be my version of the input in bitcoin.

well, i dont really regret anything because i work and earn bitcoin. so i dont have anything to lose. but im really happy when the price rising into $4K right now.
but if i bought it, i must be the one who regret and buy it late like i always do than buy it when price considerably cheap atm

It really depends on the entire goal of the person that is purchasing Bitcoin online. If that person wanted to make money through Bitcoin then he will be really stressful within our current situation since the price of Bitcoin is going up and down really fast. An average trader wouldn't know what to do and they would cash their money out at a loss and then be upset when the price of Bitcoin goes up later on.

If you are purchasing Bitcoin to help test the network then I would think that there wouldn't be any regrets for purchasing it.

Easy keep calm when you don't buy bitcoins. If you get paid for work in bitcoins you can afford the luxury not to be afraid of price drops and keep calm, but those who buy bitcoin sometimes it spends the money and for them this fall is a tragedy.

Probably suggests that after a huge peak in prices a dip will follow just now we are at a point where prices have peaked to high proportions it is only a matter of time before we see a slight crash and prices levelling of again.

actually the day that i posted this price was "peaked to high proportions" and it then had a sizeable correction which was the dip i was telling people to buy in.

and also right now we had the same dip repeat itself about more than 2 days ago and a very nice dip shaped up and gave those who wanted a nice chance to buy bitcoin $600 under the current price

What is difficult right now is to find a dip to buy  Grin. Maybe we should be looking to just buy and wait it to raise more. Thinks that it is much likely to do so from now on.

Dips are so short now...

5 months ago price went up above $1250 people started saying "will it come down so we can buy" then it came down to $800-$900 and i told them This is the dip to buy in

3 months ago again price went up from $1400 to $2755 and a lot of people were asking "is it a good time to buy bitcoin, will it come down to buy?" then there was a dip $1850 on 26 and 27 of May. and i told them This is the dip to buy in
you can see one of the topics here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lets-see-how-many-of-you-are-buying-this-time-1933765

now price once again went up to $3500 and people are again asking "will it come down so we can buy".
i tell you again the dip is happening again. you had a chance of buying at $3100 and anything now is a good buy price, buy before you regret it.
This is the dip to buy in

so which one will you be? someone who buys before it is too late or someone who regrets and buys when it is too late?

You are one of the very few who saw the opportunity when there was, many people just failed to see it, they brought it high and sold it due to fear. Good to see there is someone who thought like I thought and made good purchases, thanks to this forum, was able to get it right at times and like buffet says buy when they sell, sell when they buy, if one applies it correctly in Bitcoins one can make a lot of money. So now 4400 what's your current opinion.

No one can guess when exactly to buy so that the price then starts to grow, but I think that bitcoin is not too late to buy, it has growth prospects and after a while it will bring a good profit.

Turns out OP you were right. I had sold a small portion of my bitcoin at $3,400 to try out my trading skills. Since the price rose so quickly I assumed it was on a bubble and would pop. After frustratingly see it go up and up I rebought at $3,800 and just accepted the loss... well now it is a gain though, because it went up past $4000 a couple days later. Cheesy

I admire you that you had sold a small portion at $3,400. Well you've got $1,000 gains than me.

I had sold it before at $2,300 - $2,400 I was not in panic but there's a need to sell for some financing needs.

But I had to disagree with what you had said that it is not a bubble, many already said that bitcoin is in a bubble but it's not.

Which is the best part of this investment wait till the correction happen then hold again for more pumped if possible to hold for more years bitcoin still young in this currency business so more will follow for sure it will rise to its new ath from time to time.

With the price of bitcoin rising high ,i really do not think that the price would anyway go down that steep now,the people who were able to purchase the coins during the dip certainly made a huge amount of profit, the recent rise is certainly surprising as i did not predict the price to rise this much in a very small amount of time.

Anytime bitcoin surges to new highs i feel like i should go out and buy some, From time to time i buy the dips although usually at the top of the dip =p. Im not sure when we are going to get a dip with this latest bull run though, And even if we do get a dip, how low will it be?

Any dips that happen in the future will happen very quickly. If you want to get in on it the best thing to do it to get your finances all in order and setup with the exchange so when it does happen you can jump on it.
The prices of bitcoins are going to rise in future. Bitcoins are going through there pumping phase and even if there will be any sort of decrease in its value it will be $2900 at most. I oppose my own idea. If you want to earn profit from bitcoins it is a right time to invest as compared to future.

Sure the time is right and ripe at the moment to buy in more bitcoins if you can and you are certainly assur d of raking in profits at the right time. It gets better by the day and the longer you hold the better it gets like wine.

Yeah straight up, the number one way to make money in crypto is buy dips and sell high. Or HODL, then you will profit guaranteed.
there are no any guarantees here) It's better to sell 50% on x2 profit (or 33% on x3 and etc).

Seems a good suggestion. With all these changes in the prices of bitcoins, it is pretty hard to decide when to buy and when to sell. At the present moment, the price is high and it will surely boost up in future.

So, now is the moment to buy. Also, if there will be a dump in value, still the price will be high. Saving coins for future is better than selling them out now but if you need to fulfill your requirements, it is a wise step to take.
