for now and next week, i think better to hold bitcoin rather than to sell it, because now the rate of bitcoin is still going down for this week and we don't know until when the rate will be up again.

It is better if we are going to keep our bitcoins and the price is still not yet acceptable for me and I am thinking that it is going to become higher if we are just going to hold it a little longer. And even with the alt coins you just need to wait for the price to increase and if the price gets satisfies you then that is the right time to sell.

I think that selling can be good if you are in a need of money right now, overall I think that holding is now better due to the fact its gonna rise.
The future of the bitcoin is just so great!

I would never sell. Just keep buying every month. It alwas turns ok okay in the long term. Its called dollar cost averaging. It's pretty much the safest way to keep storing bitcoin long tern while making your wallet bigger and saving your ass from big price movements.
yes and i have also the same strategy, i do buying bitcoin every month from my salary and hold it for the price increase, actually i believe on long term investment and like to hold bitcoins for a long time.

If I were you, I'd not sell and keep holding and see how it goes for a few more months.
But since I have a very small amount of coins myself, I don't care about any small difference in price because it's not going to make me rich or anything.

I also would hold them right now because of the fact that the bitcoin has a great future a head right now and I think that its a good currency too, we should hold it too make some nice amounts in the bitcoin.
I also think it will be profitable in the future.

Bitcoin is ultimately deflationary by its very nature where almost nothing else is, so its something you'd want plenty of and accumulating more of over time. Of course, it's more of where you'd keep your savings as traditional savings accounts pay nothing over time these days as artificially low interest rates cause central banks to service govt debt via inflation to the holder, thus losing purchasing power over time unlike Bitcoin. Central banks across the world are constantly devaluing their currencies and that is partially why Bitcoin keeps gaining leverage in those denominated currencies. The main question is whether u want more of your country's fiat money which is inflated every year, or bitcoin which grows in value over time as fiat values erode.
The question is rather what can you do with that accumulated money whether Bitcoin or fiat. At the moment, the fiat clearly wins on adoption and thus the inflation is the premium you pay for that. If the adoption of Bitcoin improves, if the micropayments make possible to use Bitcoin to pay for the everyday shopping, then you are probably right.

We still don't know if Feds will increase rate or not, as they are delaying things. This might suggest global economic slowdown and dollar weakness.
Every time when FIAT is in trouble bitcoin is gaining, the only problem is that bitcoin market is not reacting to this news.
Bitcoin market is whimsical, it sometimes react fast and sometimes late.
I wouldn't exaggerate with so many external factors influencing price of the Bitcoin that much. First, Bitcoin has many of its own problems, among them mass adoption, as the main challenge.
Therefore, the price of Bitcoin is exclusively driven by speculation at the moment. And, as such, it may or may not fit the fiat events. However, I wouldn't forcefully look for much coincidence there, because there is very little there, and it is very easy to get biased.

Finally someone who understands that the price of Bitcoin is purely driven by speculation, and not by adoption and usage, or other factors as a lot other people think. Not sure why people can't seem to understand it.

While i want to keep my bitcoin to hold, i would not gain much by holding,  can investing to some ICO would be an advantage to me?
what are your opinion to this?
Investing on ICO may not be always profitable as you think, there are many scam/shitcoins ICO before running away with all ICO funds and some coins price getting dumped hard after ICO finished. Better to try altcoin day trading.

Hi,

Many analytics said that the bitcoin price will go up this month, but nothing significant has happend yet. So what do you think is going to happen? Is it better to sell now or wait more? Do you think that the bitcoin price will fall?

Angell
it is the time to keep your btc in your wallet because . the down in the price is due to the people selling their btc for ETH . this is the small time down in the rate of bitcoin so i will suggest to keep your btc atlast for a month because in the future in this year the price will sharply increase .
so true . today most traders attracted by the ETH. but I believe the next few months the trend of people will begin to return to the bitcoin.
more and more use of bitcoin to make bitcoin prices higher.

not most people you should stay most day-traders instead.

because people are only attracted to bitcoin and that is all everybody thinks about but when the bitcoin price is stable they start looking somewhere else for profit.

and this is when they look for the pump and dumps and the bigger the pumps and dump the more trader will go there.

Keeping bitcoin will be better decision for now and for few more years. Everyone who know basic things about economy know that Bitcoin price have to rise.. Supply and demand have own right, and bitcoin price is strictly depends from that.. Good luck traders.. Wink

Holding is good if you are long term minded. The longer you hold, the higher the profits will be when you sell. That's how it has been till now. It's however not a guarantee that the price will continue to go up, but there is plenty of room for growth. ICO's are an easy way for scammers to gain large amounts of coins very fast. That's why you should investigate the ICO you plan to invest in thoroughly.

I think to see constant price for long time is quite normal for bitcoin so better to hold all you have tightly and if you have cash than better to buy more in cheap price.

Selling can be good but I would wait a bit longer, its better to have some patience and wait on a  higher price.
I'm pretty sure that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount soon or later, it has a great future.
