this is good for those who are new in the system if you really want to secure your money and investment this could help you other than this is keep your account private do not tell other people or do not open on other computers your account you are liable to your accounts of something happens it's your fault so if I were you I will ensure that my account will only be opened through me.

The number of hacked crypto wallets and stolen coins scares.
But just imagine amount of such cases with credit cards and bank accounts, which still happen hundreds of times more often, just because everyone use cards and banks worldwide.

So the Cryto Safety is much easier task for those who get used to keep their virtual environments safe:
- commuters and gadgets;
- account logins and strongly designed passwords;
- constant use o antiviruses and services like Virustotal;
- be careful with email and IM attachments and social based threats.

I added a bit to secure bitcoin from hackers that is by storing in an offline wallet like trezzor. this can be for the anticipation of bitcoin and coin owners can feel more secure.

There are now a lot of people are choosing the wallet off, to use and it can avoid being attacked by hackers. Many nano developers have released ledger nano S to help investors keep their Bitcoin and altcoin safe from hackers.

These days hackers are very smart and they can still access your funds after all these precautions. It is one of my big concerns while investing in crypto.

Fixed that for you  Smiley
Offcourse, you forgot about airgapped cold wallets and paper wallets... They are as safe as a hardware wallet. Online wallets and exchanges do not belong in the same sentence as the word "safe", unless preceded by the word "not"

Yes you are right and im agreeing what you said, hackers are always there and we didnt avoid it but you can secure your bitcoin by buying hardware wallet like what you said because i have a friend that have a same situation that he buy a hardware wallet to secure his bitcoin from the hacker this hardware wallet was a offline wallet because in the online wallet your bitoin was not safe so that most preferable was a hardware wallet.

Regarding sharing passwords with anyone, you should share it with at least one trusted person. This will help your family recover the funds if something bad happens to you.

It still looks funny to me that users don't know that bitcoin wallets can be vulnerable and that they need to protect it. But in reality many bitcoin users are actualy easy targets so there is a lot od space to promote security and to educate users of cryptocurrencies. Like they say, better safe than sorry.

This is really helpful for newbies / new to cryptoworld.  They'll be needing this for the betterment and security of their coins. It'll be a great loss of profit if they're not going to secure their coins.
