Basically, the ones that come out of crises best are the ones that stay strong at the lowest point.
Your statement reminds me of a quote by Robert Kiyosaki: "History reminds us that dictators and despots arise during times of sever economic crisis"

We all have seen the tough times and probably all of the posters who are active here are real survivors imo. Its just about time!

You are absolutely correct. Let me add, that it is in political crises that these same dictators fall.

P.S. This is not directly related to Bitcoin, should be in Beginners' & Help board.

Probably a good idea. I haven't thought about that.

Good motivation and advice, and to add, maybe a little story of my journey with crypto will help elevate someone's spirit.

I started crypto in 2015 as a poor boy, I worked really hard, saved and saved and saved, and 2016, I managed to save about $18, bitcoin being already expensive to me by then, I decided to invest that money in an ICO which promised a good return on investment, this project later turned out to be a scam, that was how I lost my money I worked months to safe.
I was devastated, felt like giving up but some how, I found courage to keep going, I started fauceting for free bitcoin, while I kept working hard to save up some money again, after about two months, managed to save up to $10, joined with the little bitcoin I've earned from faucets, I decided to learn about crypto trading and started trading on poloniex which was the largest crypto exchange at the time, trading was not easy though but I was determined to succeed, kept trading and kept making little profits that's in cents most times, and in about three months, I think I had up to $50 on my trading account, I got tired of trading and decided to invest part of that money in another ICO, I made some profit this time, and I started buying and selling bitcoin(buy low, sell high) - this was actually another mistake I made, cus if i had held all the bitcoins I bought and sold back then till now, or maybe till 2017/2018 bull run, i would have made tens of millions in my local currency..

But all being the same, I am very happy for where I am today, I am happy i did not give up, though I did encounter a lot of challenges, lost money to several scams, but still, I kept my head up always.

Whatever comes to bother you in life is bound to disappear on its own. Whether it be scams or people telling you to get rid of your crypto. Once it goes away, you will come out stronger than before because you will have found out that you have defeated it from within you.

Basically, the ones that come out of crises best are the ones that stay strong at the lowest point. And if we focus on Bitcoin, they would be the ones that take advantage of it to buy more instead of crying. Look back at the history of Bitcoin and see what happened to those who cried and sold at the bottom of the market and what happened to those who held on and bought more.

Bitcoin has unique properties and has been very profitable, but if you cry instead of trying to see the opportunity at the bottom, you stand to lose.

I'm sure things happen to us that make us demotivated from doing just about everything, and it could be related to something you have heard about cryptocurrency, or it could not be related to that at all. Maybe it is related to your bitcoins like you were robbed or something, or maybe it has nothing to do with that.
The ebbs and flows of life. We are bound to get demotivated at times, with the slow moving price (for people that over invested), or the recent hacks and scams or about this forum, newbies that are finding it difficult to rank up and grow on the forum, or even understand how it works.

There are new horizons in the future just waiting to happen to you. Forget what other people are saying. Focus on building yourself, so that you can take care of others you encounter who need your help, when the time comes for that.
We should all take lessons from those who have been exactly where we are now and learn from them.
If you are struggling on the forum, there have been numerous users there too and they (not all) found a way to balance it out through their effort and consistency.

P.S. This is not directly related to Bitcoin, should be in Beginners' & Help board.

Back in the 2018-2020, people are saying someone is stupid for bought Bitcoin at $19K on 2017. But if he's know what he do and continue to hold his coin until 2021, he already earn 3x from his initial investment.
Not too far, weeks ago, people said it is stupid to buy Bitcoin at $16,000 and now they are regretting about that. I don't think Bitcoin won't fall to under $20,000 again but my stance is if you believe in Bitcoin, you can DCA it as regular activities for your investment in Bitcoin.

You don't have to find, ask yourself where is the bottom of each bear market. It is unnecessary because if you want to find an absolute bottom before you buying bitcoin, you will miss the bottom when it takes off already.

Meanwhile of finding a bottom, you probably use your fund for other things that only reduce the total net fund you spend for investment. If you DCA, your total net fund will be bigger.

Considering what a lot of people have said and are still saying about cryptocurrency, I don't let that border me at all because that is the only way I can feel deterred and stop investinging in bitcoin. I try as much as possible to keep my keys private as to avoid being scammed or robbed off my bitcoin but I don't think I will ever get demotivated again in life. I don't care what billions of people say about me am just going my way and focusing on the things that matter most which is purchasing more and more bitcoin no matter how small because I know that the price will shock the world after 2024.

To the readers:

Jokes aside — concerning scams and hacks and such, the only way of not being a victim is through education. The industry is still young, and gains can still definitely be made when done correctly.

Great lesson will create great person.

Most people who become successful and rich are have experienced a tough lesson which not all people can accept it. When you have experienced about it, you can prevent from that's problem will happen to you in the future and you can improve it to achieve a good result.

Years ago, Internet was target to shut down, ban from governments. Now we can loudly say it has changed the world and brought the world to a better era. I am not doubtful to say this fact of Internet connection to the world.

There are people who use Internet in good or bad ways but because they are different types of people. Good people have their good ways and bad people have their bad ways but it is not responsibility of Internet to solve all those problems. If society accept Internet, use it, governments and citizens must build up supplementary things around Internet to make this space a better and safer place for all. Unfortunately we can not completely prevent bad things happen in life.
