No, the hashrate has been 150 GHZ,now it 6 GHZ.

I would think at some point it will drop further (even for a few hours), so GPUmining at the right time is feasible.

it didn't last long. a couple minutes and the, illegal memory access. not sure what thats telling me

x13 can be frustrating to mine, especially now these big rigs are available, making difficulty hard to judge.

I mined until I was outmined, but had no problem because it was just on a personal pool, and therefore easy to adjust difficulty to suit.
