The distribution was worth approximately $18 (355.  XLM). It would have been a loss for the buyer.

it will be loss for the buyer because the airdrop ended this month but if they still continue the airdrop it will be a huge profit for the buyer

Due to the fake accounts in involved in the registration, Keybase has decided to halt the airdrop. This will be the last

The airdrop has already been stopped with the final payout being this month.  Even key base acknowledged the fact that the payout will be less with the stress kg sending becoming more.  It's unlikely your account will be worth as much as you claim eventually.
Haha. Yes, keybase has closed its XLM airdrop this month. And there will be no XLM payment for the following months. Sad enough to hear that Sad

if you read it clearly that this month is the last payment so they will distribute all the XLM left they had that should be 20 months distribution

The Big Stellar Space Drop
UPDATE #5 December 10, 2019: This month will be our last of the Stellar Space Drop.

On the week starting Dec. 15, we will distribute the final 100 million Lumens among all qualifying members. The total giveaway amount will have been 300 million Lumens (approximately $16,000,000 USD).

While this giveaway mostly worked, it's clear that there will be decreasing returns and massively increased effort required. Why? Starting in the last week or so, hordes of fake people were beginning to come in, far beyond the capacity of Keybase or SDF to filter. It's not in the Stellar network's interest to reward those people; it is also not in Keybase's interest to have them as Keybase users.

As we've said from the beginning, SDF reserves the right to end this giveaway early. The last month will go out, of course. If you are a legit, registered user, expect your share of 100 million Lumens next week.

Everyone else: registrations are now closed.

Thanks everyone!

I just heard that today.

It is because people cheated the airdrop, and is possible that OP is one of those cheaters.

Question,,, why do people keep selling these airdrop accounts? Most of them only need you to register and do a small bit of KYC to qualify on your own. $20 paid upfront to get your own XLM airdrop. I would just go and buy $20 worth of XLM if I wanted it so badly.

P.S. My country is banned. Cannot stand all the scammers using fake mobile numbers from my country, they just caused me to get banned.

but don't forget that this airdrop 20 months and if we estimate that each distribution will be around 15/20$
you still profit more than 200$ for the total 19 months left

356,775 registered so far. The next round is
Dec 15, 2019.

You'll get
280
Lumens (XLM) each month if no one else registers.

As at the time of my writing, this is the current number of entries and potential reward per account. Are you selling the XLM because you know it could potentially be worth less than $20 as at the time of distribution? There's still about 6 dyas left so its likely going to decrease even further.

Please guy don't fall for this cheap scam,  even if he gives you all the login details, he can still withdraw your money from your  account without having to login into the account, by simply putting the keybase stellar secret pin into another keybase account he can withdraw your money.

Believe me I have tried this and it works..

I'm not a keybase user so I don't know the system, but if you want to sell an account, it should be with the email, because you can later use the password reset feature to retrieve the account, unless your BTT account already has at least a hero or has a good reputation.

why you sell it, with keybase you will get around $ 20 every month, and you only sell it for $ 20, why I have to trust you, It looks like you have to use Escrow, I'm sure people won't believe you that easily either.

i think they want to sell it because he needs quick money but i think this will be a way to scam
because the OP can just try to reset password later after 1/2 this transaction done?
Its really hard to make such transactions specially if the said attached email wont be given out thats why it isnt really that ideal to make such deal.
We say that this one is a serious offer but its risky to deal even if we do only talk for 20 bucks.

Thanks for the input. There is no attached email on the account. The account has already been qualified and even has received the first round of coins (that I've spent). I've already said that I can use escrow if you must demand it. But for christ sakes, it's $20.

The offer is a little suspicious because I've seen people selling their keybase accounts at prices above $ 100 and the account was sold, btw hopefully your account is sold only for those who buy cautious because keybase always does a reduction in participants before the airdrop distribution
