If that would be happen that KFC accepts bitcoin, its is possible that many fastfoods accepting it also. Not just any fastfood but in many aspects or stablishment will do the same. Bitcoinworld are steps growing and up if that possible.

Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

Anything can happen but I assure you guys that KFC will have the better of this. This is a business.

This is very nice actually but still I would like to use our own currency to buy KFC chicken . because in our country bitcoin is still illegal . hope some days we will also be capable tk buy KFC chicken by btc.
They should pay for the transaction fee so we can just pay for the meal. The transaction fee is expensive.

Of course I agree that a very serious PR of the restaurant! But most importantly, who is now the first to discover this niche, he will be on a horse! In Brazil, 18,000 stores signed a contract for the reception of dash, so this is not a new trend! This trend will spread very quickly around the world! soon there will be a crypto world!))

I believe that if Bitcoin can stabilize then many big companies will start to dip their toes in the water. In the UK CEX (a second hand games and , consoles and other tech) take Bitcoin in some outlets.
Yes, if bitcoin was more stable, many companies would much more readily accept it. And many stores accepted it as payment, although there is already a certain number of those people.

KFC is using a successful strategy. We will now have delicious chicken dishes at KFC restaurants by paying with Bitcoin. Every week we watch the news of a different company that accepts payments with Bitcoin. Strong development for bitcoin and crypto market.

They are not actually getting the bitcoin, they are using bitpay so you are paying via bitcoins but they are getting fiat.

more and more people are interested in bitcoin because it now shows as a worthy currency to use in everyday situations, such as buying food, and if KFC considers it a successful strategy to accept it, it may open more companies in a country so that the country gets developed and his people were advanced

KFC Canada has found a wily way to ride the coattails while deriding the entire damn concept. With help from agency Grip Limited, meet “The Bitcoin Bucket,” an attempt to convince Canadians to exchange their Bitcoins for buckets (of chicken, thus enriching KFC while the going can be got).

In fact, I think it's good for Bitcoin anyway! This is his introduction into everyday life. The only thing that bothers me is the timing of the transaction. While it is done - will have time to grow a new chicken =)

Do you guys think this is going to be huge for cryptocurrency or just a KFC marketing scheme?

For me it is both.
Just last year, there are speculations that Mc Donalds also did this already. What's the point? Well, this only means that even those big food chains really invest in bitcoin and that it is also a way to encourage their customers to get interested in bitcoin.

I believe this is more of a marketing move than a real need. At the moment it's not profitable to make such small purchases using Bitcoin, and i doubt a lot of people is buying KFC for Bitcoin. The fact that they are progressing by embracing the tech by accepting payments in BTC is still awesome though.
