I don't know what is going on with that pricing - but it is not correct. Last KGC I sold was for around 0.00002 BTC..

It is pulling from open orders on Coins-E and is correct. Look at http://www.coins-e.com/exchange/KGC_BTC/ . Since the market is so shallow, the pricing is an average of the three open orders.

Is it the average of the prices alone or prices taking into consideration volume?

Nope - because they are not in place orders. I can understand the point, but you have to realize that I'd rather underestimate profitability than over estimate. While past orders may indicate what the price, they aren't the price at the current moment (only standing orders are). Just think of the stock market - prices are quoted as current bid / asks. As the krugercoin market gets more developed, you will see standing orders with more depth.
