I thought KICK was a scam,,, sorry if I am wrong but they were the ones who gave out airdrop to ETH holders right? I even got some but I remember you had to pay something like 1ETH to activate them for mining or something. So not a complete scam but I bet a lot of people lost money activating that smart contract,,,

I could be wrong but, I think you are talking about Minerium (another scam IMO) but yes KICK also airdropped 888,888 locked tokens to the users which they could unlock by trading crypto assets on their exchange.

It must be a scam since their airdrop is locked even today. Its not worth depositing ETH as mandatory to unlock the airdropped tokens, this is cruelty in when they finally snap that after unlocking you get to see a notification that minimum withdrawal is more than you currently have. This is going ot be a trick that will expose this KICK scam.

They are the only who did this kind of marketing, its really an exppensive marketing so you wouldn;t expect them to really pay that much.

Ive been reading several threads or discussions about that 888k tokens.
https://www.reddit.com/r/KICKICO_Platform/comments/e7bpd3/what_can_i_do_with_those_888888_kick_tokens/
https://www.reddit.com/r/KICKICO_Platform/comments/e1vi1m/888888_kicktokens_frozen_drop_to_167375_crypto/
https://medium.com/@kickecosystem/888-888-kicktokens-frozen-drop-to-170-000-crypto-users-is-coming-2937a1abf641

It might be gimmicky but they are just trying to make use of these free tokens just to be put up into their platform.

KICK for now is arguably a good project, because they are very active,
many roadmaps are running smoothly, and this makes investors into KICK, it's all up to you.

Is this the coin (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/kick-token/)  you are referring?

I can't find similar name but I remember this coin was worth investing in the past but it's price now is very low and no development on exchange listing, I mean it's only listed in Kucoin (speaking of decent exchange),  so if Kucoin will delist this coin, probably game is over.

Is this a good project still? I noticed the price is completley flat but in the past week it has been going up about %20. I went to thier website and took a look, they are still doing projects which seems great. There is also a trading exchange they launched called KICKex.

I invested in thier ico years ago and im still hoddling my tokens, but am glad they are still going strong.

i think its better for you to do a deep research again in KickICO my friend, t
hink twice also you should comparing the risk and reward if you invest in KickICO with the other altcoin
because in my opinion Kickico is not good alt to invest
anyway "Good Luck" for you

KICK is not a good choice, some time ago the team pumped the token price up to tens of times, and returned to dumping a few moments after that.
They also distributed 888,888 locked tokens for free to 1 million eth addresses, and gave several conditions to unlock them, such as registering on the kickek website, looking for referrals, and doing KYC, I thought this was a strange thing.

junk tokens even just spam all etherum wallets by giving out non-usable ones, so not a good choice for this kind of token, will return 0 just waiting for some time

Kickico distributed a lot of coins among almost all Ethereum holders, would you invest in something that has been distributed for free? Probably not, right?  Roll Eyes

I also got around 800 thousand KickToken from the airdrop, if you count USD around $ 26 for today's price, but it looks like there's no point in the token being in my wallet because it's locked. if I have to spend 1 ETH to activate it, it looks bad because the current price is not yet worth it when I have to activate and dump my ETH.

There airdrop token is not that big amount compared to time and ETH that you will spend just to unlock the free KICK. I still have millions of this token that I bought during ICO. I’m very disappointed about this token, the way they giveaway bunch of tokens without considering there investors holding. My token got dividend but the price was already dead and I’m not expecting something big might happened on this project. There are tons of promising project available in the market right now like Serum and AMPL(i change my vision  against this token after I understand the tokenomics.)

KICK once had a really good time and made us pretty good profits but, If I were you I won't be investing in KICK now because the project is struggling IMO. Right now the market trend is with DeFi projects so go with them.

everyone has a choice and if you hold this token for a long time I don't think it is a problem as long as this project provides interesting updates every day. but you have to ready accept the risk if there is a decline then sure this token will not be of value because the price is very low. I asked what made you interested in this token and what was the reason?

Its rank #934 in CMC which isnt bad, i think the fact they are still posting on thier website and social media daily is good.  This was a big hype ico during the 2017 ico craze and obviously everything crashed. But i think i will hold onto my coins.

Did you say that if you HODL coins in your wallet I still get dividends rewards? Is that still a thing?

but the problem with this token is that the price is very low .. but if you are still confident with this token, it's okay, no problem, because it's an option. the most important thing is not seen from the low price but from the profit we get every time. If you feel fit do it, but if you don't feel right leave. Have a nice day

I invested in thier ico years ago and im still hoddling my tokens, but am glad they are still going strong.
I made some thousand bucks when i do join up their bounty and luckily i do able to see it directly when its still on  $0.09 price and ive kept some of coins and paying up monthly dividends.

On the question if its still worth to invest into this project then i can say that it would be depending on you, if you can see that they are still running after all the years and making up some updates then

theres still might a chance for this project to be alive again. This isnt only talking on KICK alone but in some good projects out there which are heavily being devastated by current market condition.
