i think it's not so important to know about bitcoin for 7-10 years because it's very early stage they aren't capable to learn about bitcoin right now but i am not discouraging you,
you can buy comic or cartoon book where easily they can learn, also youtube videos are easy to understandable for kids.
What's the rush in teaching something to a child when even many adults find it challenging to fully understand Bitcoin? If someone wants to teach Bitcoin to a child, does it genuinely bring benefits to the family? Not necessarily, right? I believe there's an ideal age for individuals to grasp more complex concepts like economics, finance, and cryptocurrency. It's better to wait until the right time for them to learn about Bitcoin so that the results are more meaningful.

For children under 10 years old, what can be taught are wise financial habits, like incorporating trading and negotiation skills into play while having fun. That seems more realistic for the current age.

Hard to understand what exactly adult should teach kids about Bitcoin. How to make an investment? I think this is too early and kids should not be so money oriented from very childhood, and Bitcoin or crypto is not the only thing where to make investment. Teach about technology? I doubt that kids will understand what we are trying to teach, not will have a real interest in it. Third - they have too many their «kids problems, things to do and etc» aka their little life. I think we should not interfere with out grown-up ideas and vision into their little life much.
Anything basic I guess?
The same as the reel video that was posted in a thread here a  few weeks ago regarding the animated video sharing the basic knowledge about Bitcoin.

By explaining the kids what is cryptocurrency, the difference between cryptocurrency and the traditional currency, and such. There is a lot that can be taught to them. It's not all about how to make an investment which we all know is impossible for young kids to have enough money to start investing. This is too early for that, but when it comes to knowledge, as long as they are interested, that would be good.

How to explain to them the difference when they don't even know what money is, what money is created for and how money is created?...When we talk about money, we are talking about finance, but what do children know about that? They are being raised by us and have never worried about making money. So how can they understand how money works?

Our children need to know about bitcoin, but at the right age, we cannot teach them things they do not need yet. Don't ruin their childhood because your parents wouldn't do that to you either.
That's part of the basic knowledge. We're in the year 2023, and kids nowadays know exactly what money is. Even the kids know how and where they can use it. They might not know everything as they have a limited understanding as a kid, but kids are smart, especially the new generation. They have a deep understanding because they are exposed to the internet where all information can be found.

Teaching kids about Bitcoin does not necessarily mean making them focus only on knowing about Bitcoin until they grow up. Giving them the idea is enough, a little explanation is enough and using simple analogies that can help them understand complex concepts. But it doesn't mean you will dictate their future by giving them knowledge for future use.

I think that making children familiar with the means of payment is money; I don't see anything wrong with that. They will easily remember that, for sure, it is almost no different from Bitcoin if we teach the children to be familiar with it.

Now, there is no need to explain to them what Bitcoin is or whatever; the only thing that is important is that they see its usage, and they will be really familiar with it. Then let's explain little by little when we know they can understand; it's that simple.

My next Bitcoin awareness approach now are the children, there are many kids in my family and very soon our get-together tradition is approaching, I need your help in this forum if this is possible.

I remember when I was little, I love reading books that have good pictures on them, like comics and novels painted with amazing pictures, from Peter Pan to DareDevil and Supergirl, while growing up as an adult I ended giving out these comics to my cousins.

My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.

I think that you have many options to buy what you want in the bitcoin comic book, given the amount that our colleagues here in the forum have given you. I also have a child at a young age, and I will gradually give him awareness about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Maybe when he reaches the age of 10–12, I will start familiarizing him with bitcoin by watching him watch bitcoin anime on YouTube and so on. And how Bitcoin can help people's lives apart from its usage.

Children should take some time to teach about bitcoin. Young children can learn about bitcoin if they are interested but will be hindered when it comes to investing. Children should know about the market. Also during childhood they like to be involved in sports and entertainment, so it is better to let them enjoy their childhood. If you are the right age then there will be no barriers to learning a lot about bitcoin. Children may lose interest later if they learn from a young age.

I don't think it's right to put children in a program to learn Bitcoin or to tell them they need to learn Bitcoin. Children must first experience the things that children should experience. They should not be concerned with the economy or any other problem.

When the time comes, that is, when they grow up, the areas they are curious about emerge and those children are guided according to the topics they are curious about. Some things happen on their own, so if the child is interested in Bitcoin, he wants to learn it himself. As a parent, you should only support the child when he decides to do so.

I am curious: why do you guys care too much about teaching kids? I have seen a couple of topics already. At least four threads about teaching kids about Bitcoin. Why do you need four threads to discuss the same thing? Why do moderators not delete duplicate threads? I remember I created a cricket discussion thread in a Gambling discussion, and moderators deleted it within an hour.

I am too much annoyed because each time people create such thread, I guess notification because of username. I really have to PM theymos requesting changing my username.

For those ages seven to 11 who are not old enough to learn about Bitcoin, give them the opportunity to grow up on their own without pressuring them to learn Bitcoin at this early age. How much can a seven-year-old child learn about Bitcoin? I think a seven-year-old child would be adversely affected by the amount he could learn about Bitcoin. Besides allowing a seven-year-old child to grow naturally, you can teach him some English as well as some of your local language. As your child grows up try to teach him about other things gradually and when he is roughly approaching adulthood you can teach him about Bitcoin which will be useful to him.
That is the age for them to enjoy being a normal kid, I think the right age to learn about bitcoin is at the age of 17 and above, unless a child has a matured mindset and very eager to know every details about crypto despite their young age  then let them be, let them learn in their own will, not by forcing them to learn and engage in this kind of activity. Every child has their own passion, so for the parents out there, just support them while guiding them in their decisions.

Every kid is different, hence there is no such thing as "the right age". A child or a teenager can find an interest in bitcoin really early, and our mission as parents is to give him all the opportunities to learn and keep this interest alive. Child`s mind is very flexible and absorptive, it can engulf different types of information in the firs years of life, but the result of it will be noticeable later.
It only means that if they show interest in Bitcoin, it is our part to help them and provide wisdom to make them easily gather information and adopt basic knowledge. And if a kid or teenager does not show any interest, there is no need to make them get into Bitcoin just because we want them to know about it. It is all about their choice whether they will enjoy playing outside with their friends, or growing up and learning things as early as possible.

Your thoughts must be appreciated. The most precious period of a person's life is his childhood. What a person can learn in childhood, becomes his wealth for the rest of his life. I think that the nation which can accustom children to books is the most advanced nation.

The bitcoin comic handbook is made for people of all ages. You will find this book available on Amazon. But for 7 to 11 year old children any cartoon videos are more interesting than writing books. You will find many cartoon videos related to bitcoin on youtube. Which can be a great way to introduce your child to Bitcoin.

If you can teach your child right about Bitcoin at this age. But your child will gain a much better idea of when to hold and when to sell bitcoins after a while.
Teaching children about Bitcoin is a good way to spread the news about the potentials of Bitcoin when we trade it or invest in it.
Like we know that children learn very fast, teaching them will help them to understand what Bitcoin really worth and it will also help them to spread and advocate for Bitcoin. Any slightest opportunity we have, we need to use it and teach children on how to invest in Bitcoin and also how the market moves. This is a way of empowering children for the future of tomorrow.
But, of course, I hope the OP doesn't overdo it. We can't push the knowledge or interest of bitcoin at such an age just because we want them to know it, but of course they are in their stage wherein they tend to explore and be curious, so it may be a good time to introduce or influence them in bitcoin, but we can't push them to take an interest in that; they have their own free will, so even if we introduce and influence them, don't expect that they will be interested immediately or adopt bitcoin. But the OP's intention is good because if he is committed, then if his cousin shows interest in bitcoin, then I know he will guide them as he is the influencer. But the thing is, I know it is hard to find a store or book store where you can find a comic about bitcoin. Maybe on the internet you can search, or if you searched for a print copy, then maybe you can print it yourself.
There's always that right time and its true that it wont really be that ideal that you would really be that forcing your kids on telling about Bitcoin or crypto because even on how hard you do make out some explaination
but if their interest and self awareness on things arent still that matured then it would really be pointless or useless because it would really be that easily forgotten. This is why it would really be always better
that you should be telling them on the right time if you do see that it is really just that prepared to hear and having that possible interest. Telling them forcefully would really be that stressful.

Just like on waht had been said that it would really be taking some time, they would neither be normally be dealing with crypto or knows about it on the time that they would be able to encounter it
considering that recognition and adoption we do have in the market is really t hat increasing year by year on which it isnt really that shocking that they would be able to encounter
normally along the way.
It is pointless to try to teach young minds complicated ideas when their minds arent ready for them yet. We shouldnt, however, underestimate their ability to learn. The key is to adapt: show Bitcoin to them in a way that makes sense in their world. Its not just "when" we teach them these ideas, but also "how." Think about this: they may not fully understand the technical side of blockchain, but they do understand things like digital money and online exchanges. Kids quickly learn how to use technology these days. It is very important that the introduction be done slowly so that it fits with their cognitive growth. Its about starting an interest and letting it grow on its own. So, instead of putting off talking about it until the "right time," we should include it in regular talks about money that are tailored to their level of understanding.

What I realise is that you are looking at the monetary side of it but not the consequence thereof.

I do not buy the idea of teaching children who are not of a legal age anything investments, the risk is too high as some children might though be wise enough to the extent that they will balance their education with it and remain focused in life as they grow. But I can assure you that most children would be driven by the investment and will lack focus in their studies which are the fundamentals that can help them to build a true career. Fine, if you are so supportive of your children and they are of the age that are close to 18 years old, you may introduce Bitcoin to them as they are not little children anymore and they might know the value of studies and focus on their main life affairs and career. But when the children are still way lower than that age, it's not advisable. The best you can do by then is to buy Bitcoin for them, and you shouldn't let them know at the early stage, after all, they are the owners, but it's good to let them near the age where they make money themselves before you introduce them to investment to avoid a shift of focus.

Mind you, don't mistake this for normal businesses where you own a shop or a company, they are not in control of that even if you involve them. But investment could be solely owned by them no matter how little, therefore risky at that age.

I don't know what everyone is thinking, but as a father, I think teaching bitcoin to children under 10 years old is a bad idea no matter what form we use to teach them including pictures cartoon. Forcing them to learn things they don't like and are not age-appropriate is a mistake, it's never a good thing. I think everything has its reason. Why does the Ministry of Education offer educational programs for each age group without teaching indiscriminately? I believe in science and teach my children scientifically, I don't like to teach my children spontaneously, imposing my thoughts on them.
I agree with your opinion, when a child is under 10 years old it would be better for us to give pleasure to the child first, because the habits of children under 10 years old still like to play a lot and if we force it according to what we want of course It will make them feel uncomfortable doing it so that the results will not be optimal.
There will come a time when we can teach them about Bitcoin and can inherit what we have accumulated to them so that they can use it well.

When you were young you saw different sights and some historical wonders. Then when you grow up you remember all these things and tell your cousins. Now you mean comic book about bitcoin you will collect that book and show it to your kids so that your kids can learn about bitcoin very easily and remember everything about bitcoin when they grow up. Here I completely disagree with your opinion because it is better not to teach children about Bitcoin at this age. Whenever you teach kids about Bitcoin, your kids' education will be neglected. Whenever a child is distracted from studies, his learning suffers a lot. I think a child cannot be educated about Bitcoin unless they are an adult.

It is due to kids having a better memory at an early age, that is why some of their experiences are memorable that even when they reach adulting they can still remember what they did when they were a kid. Still, if you are a responsible parent, you wouldn't introduce complicated things to your children despite there being some presentations that are cartoonized, cause I agree that they should be focusing on their studies that is why there are some grade levels in schools to simply learn knowledge from elementary to college so they wouldn't start on something like Algebra that they don't even understand. There would be always a proper age to learn something which is why there's no need to rush kids.
