If I had to die at take the guy holding the gun with me so the other person could live kkthxbai silly person trying to force me into a psychological corner.
If you decide to die you might as well take the gun and try to distract them and quickly move to try to kill one of the bad guys. You got nothing to lose and it might work.

depends .. if I say "no", will the gunman kill them anyway? If so, I might as well pull the trigger if its gonna happen anyway, and save my own life at least..
