The dev lied about it using some new algo. Got a block with ybcoin GPU miner.

2 thing that gives a hint if coin is a scam (usually):
- Closed source
- Newly created account for the coin, never revealing whose behind the coin.
( I Guess forum admins can figure it out quite easily I suppose )
Source for the coin was available from beginning, only the cpuminer's wasn't.

This is a SCAM! theres nothing new in this coin, it is a scrypt-jane with minimum nFactor of 10. You can gpu mine this with any existing yac/ybc/copperbar/... miner with changing 2 parameters minimumNfactor and nChainstarttime.
Dev constantly state that theres no gpu miner etc is bullshit. releasing only compiled binaries was the red flag for me and I never even bothered, just took me some time to get all the proof I need.

Dev took alot of time renaming functions and filenames but it still plain old scrypt-jane (with minNfactor of 10)

I would presume dev gpu mined from day 0
