He's back, spamming the hell out of the german forum.

theymos should really lock the foreign language forums with a newbie jail also.

Back? He was never gone, you just happened to see one I hadn't gotten to yet.

Wish I still had my botnet up and running.

Very reassuring to see some of the "big" people in BTC and their backgrounds ...
Joke.

I am sure it was Wink

Do you guys have evidence that guy is selling Linode coins Huh
He isn't selling any coins at all.

It was already spammed today morning..

Strangely support is no longer answering... *sigh* guess i have to do a chargeback..

He will spend all day doing this. Also, the 20 seconds wait between each report to moderator doesn't help.
All he needs is some newb to go there and fall for it to make it worth his time.

I would also send a complaint to the abuse email of their hosting.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.

I guess his plan is that some people will not charge back before his PP account is closed? Should be good for a burger or two..

I asked the Support about larger amounts of BTC at their rate. 500, 1000, yeah, up to 2500 wouldnt be a problem.. at 2500 i would only have to pay 3000$ for it..

Love those rates... must be totally honest salesmanship

*edit* bought 5 via PP... lets see what happens...

You should probably get started on arranging a chargeback now to save time.

What scum. I heard someone say that someone needs to perform some kind of resource exhaustion attack so they get booted off their VPS. Allegedly. Please don't sue me.

I talked with them on live help and they wanted $699.50 for 500 coins. I told him I would give above that rate if he would use escrow. Denied.

I offered to buy his entire supply above his asking rate if he would use escrow. Denied.

Also was offended when I suggested things sounded "scammy" Smiley

Matt, I got further than you did when it came to the question of why they need to sell fast.

I'll keep trying. I bet I can get them to give a different made-up excuse to their stolen linode coins if I keep bothering them enough.

You reckon they're even sending coins to the people paying for them?

So far no evidence of that. Cliffton paid $10 and nothing happened other than support going offline for him. It could be a downright scam but honestly, they would have to be pretty dumb to think that spamming on a forum where people will search for and discuss them is a good place for a massive con without building any trust at all first.
