Duplicate loans, especially with their account as collateral is very shady. Just FYI - I won't be splitting SwingFirst's repayment with you assuming he defaults, since that was my collateral, and if he does default, the account will probably be negged, since my loans isn't related to yours. There isn't a legit reason to offer an account as collateral while having a active loan with the account. Selling an account with an defaulted loan, even if it is repaid via collateral will still be difficult.
