Sure, learn the project, read their whitepaper before even thinking to purchase their tokens. If the token is in top 100, I would still advice you to have a fundamental knowledge about that project and what is their roadmap and when big news are coming, as on those, the token may rise significantly.

the biggest mistake of newbie was do not want to cut in loss. and don't know anything about analysis the trend of market, just FOMO after some big group.

You make a good point, people would like to believe that just because they have knowledge they are going to somehow avoid making mistakes and that is not true, having more knowledge will allow you to make less mistakes and to understand better those that you make, so we always need to be very vigilant about every decision that we take when we trade.

LOL, DYOR is a must do before investing in any form, including bitcoin, altcoins or investing in ICO projects. I see the current situation many newbie investors in the market are investing in the mass and trend, but not any research on the crypto as well as the market, and most of them are the losses and blamed for the non-potential cryptocurrency market.

That's one of the main problems with a lot of the newbies that come to this forum, they think that Bitcoin or some other cryptocurreny is a get rich quick scheme and they can just invest what little money they have and walk away a millionaire in a couple of months. Not gonna happen, you need to grind if you want to strike it rich, this is not a passive income opportunity anymore.

It is good that every newbie must read this because most of them doesn't read some article or anything regarding bitcoin that's why they losses some money and some of theirs are created bad image in alt coin especially in bitcoin. They always says that it was died even it is normal at the volatile price.
