It's really exciting for Kodak to do such an innovative project. I already heard about mining. Apparently big companies have started to enter this market.

I read the news that the Kodak mining equipment was out. It's a really exciting development. I guess he had an ICO in Crytek. The entry of such magic companies into these businesses will increase the market.

Kodak is a company with a great history but does it really need them an ICO?
I can not confidently say that the company will succeed because there are already many well-known companies that have failed the ICO
of course, nobody can foresee exactly how things will happen to the company, but I just wish them good luck

It seems to me that she just needs ICO because the company has started to fade, she needs new fuel, since there has been too little activity from her recently, and a lot of companies have outstripped her for several years ahead!

Kodak or ICO's like Telegram have high market cap which is not really likely to x10. They can have huge dumps and can be manipulated by devs.
I won't join.
Also I think the market is not stable to join ICO's like that...

The token sale is meant for for accredited investors so not everyone will be able to buy the tokens.

Well it looks like the ico was delayed from the original Jan 31, 2018.mmh. The team had not thought about initially verifying that investors were actually accredited in the USA. The presale was a success with 8million coins sold. Go team go.

I really don't like project like Kodak, this company  is just trying to explore the space for their gain, people should remember their tokens have no real use,  I don't expect a company like Kodak to be doing like a start up

Then please gimme the example of the coin that is used for anything but not speculations? Have you ever payed to dentist with Dentacoin? Come on, nobody is using tokens for anything except buy/sell.

Kodakcoin is a joke .. Their main intent of the blockchain is to verify the ownership of an online photograph through essentially a digital notary service. Comparing hashes of the original file against any future versions or versions claiming to be the "authentic" original.

News flash -- several blockchains already have this service! Namely, DeepOnion. they have had the exact same service for several months -- since shortly after it's inception. It's called DeepVault & it works great. Plus, you can use it on any type of digital file; not just photos. It does in fact have a lot of uses.

Like many others have said, Kodak is a dying company that has been struggling for many years. They announced this blockchain and for the first time in a long time their stock prices increased substantially. This is their last ditch effort to innovate -- something they should have done years ago when people stopped buying cameras and started using cell phones to take pictures.

Will the coin do well? Oddly enough, I believe it will. But it's just because people are star blinded by a "legitimate" company starting their own blockchain -- albeit, with outdated features.

Indeed I had the same thinking when I saw the Kodakcoin : DeepVault is already doing that perfectly and as you said Namely (even if I don't know this one) does it too. So why would they create a blockchain or a token for only that purpose ? I don't know what they are thinking about.

But, I will invest in because I'm sure that there will be a huge pump and then I will sell everything Smiley

Received a letter from them today.
As I understand, only accredited investors will be able to participate.
No chance to buy for us.

Yep, much the same here, they are treating it like the stock market, to me it just shows they've jumped on blockchain for the fud and not done their research, big fail on their part.

Kinda the other way round, they use the technology for a real purpose, and want to release the coin with view to normal regulations.  Then people get salty because they want be able to profit from the ICO.

Offering a decentralised solution and then saying you must have $200k+ to invest is stupid, why is non existent regulation important?
Every one should get a go in a true decentralised solution.

Each to their own, they've lost my respect regardless.

Yea the core thing to see here is the reason they are doing it. They are not even trying to be fair and support decentralization as other cryptocurrencies. So even though I understand you are angry or/and sad, it is their choice and they are eglible to do as they like.

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm looking forward to joining Kodak ICO but for now I can not find any information about this incoming ICO. I hope they will publish the ICO website in the next 24 hours so that we can read the white paper.
