Opened the website for 10 seconds and realized that is nothing safer compared to LocalBitcoins. The KYC policies have added a lot of problems recently for traders even with smaller amounts but it is worth the security they provide. They're a legal company with a proper office and a team. Not that I'm a fan of such corporates but when it comes to your money, you'd always trust someone with a reputation over an anonymously owned site. LBC has the KYC downfall but they'd not run away with your bitcoins.

Sometimes they are take your account to holiday with funds.

You can’t communicate with them. Open a ticket and wait for a weeks to they reply.

I just trading on localbitcoins over years, I heard from one of my trade partner he reputations is very high and account is older than 3 years.
Any experience on that site.
The site is location is Turkey. It have address but I am outside of Turkey.
The site says 0 trading fee and just BTC trading available versus TRY, USD.
No exchange can offer you with zero fee trading service unless they are scammers so wakeup from your dream and use the legit localbitcoin or paxful for p2p trading method.Localcryptos is the new alternative for you which has no KYC requirement for now.

What is incoming transaction fees? I don't like to pay.
When sending to LocalBitcoins wallet, a bitcoin network fee is deducted from the deposit.  Huh
In localbitcoins they will deduct 0.00003BTC for every incoming transaction which is currently $0.2 which is not a huge amount when we compare to the withdrawal fee on some exchanges exceeds 0.0012BTC.

The lb also have withdrawal fee. The incoming transactions fee and %1 trade fee isn't fair.
It is old exchange, years ago they didn’t have  alternatives. As you know binance founded 2017.

If you consider 1% as a high fee then you can try other exchanges, but I have a reason why 1% is acceptable because the price on LBC is normally higher than the actual market rate so you are not paying a huge amount as fee by the way.

Not sure why he would question the integrity of the website if he was promoting it, to be fair. Could be an elaborate scam though...

Because they're trying to be subtle about it?. I encountered some cases where a user lashed out and/or overly defended the said service or product when users pointed out (valid) the negative things about it. There's also the easy one where the op's posts are mostly about what they're asking.

I'd say there's always a possibility that it's all just a scheme to promote the said service or product but there's no way of knowing unless they started showing some signs and it would be wrong to automatically accuse everyone who opens a legit check thread.

In any case. It would just backfire if a scammer tries to promote their site using such method cause the members would point it out.

The one of my trade partner suggested to zero trading fees. We trading over year with that partner. He reputation is looking (100+/%100) on localbitcoins.

How did you find this exchange?
It looks like a local exchange, something that a lot of European people have, and they are basically run by a couple of traders that basically help their own business and help other friends/traders that way. It's not the most legit thing, to be fair.

Actually, reading the responses again and not being able to access the site makes me think otherwise. God damn it..

I wonder what proportion of these threads are mindless promotion vs genuine question. I'm guessing it's going to be a ratio of about 95 to 1. Having said that newcomers seem to be extremely good at running straight into the arms of dogshit services.

Now the site is down, yesterday it was alive.

I think OP was trying to promote his own site here but when he/she got the negative responses from the smart asses (us) he took down his site or maybe the owner was following this thread. Roll Eyes

Actually I feel like you want to promote that website with you friend's reputation story. These exchanges are not going to give you any private keys so keep your funds safe on wallet not into any exchange especially with unknown sites.

Looking for your review of the site...

Istanbul is in Turkey and wdym by "free trading zone"? there's no such thing, you can trade wherever you are although the ways vary. If you're talking about free fees, also no such thing.

In any case, the volume is not enough for this to be an alternative. And it honestly looks shady, I'd prioritize safety above all if I were you op. Also not seeing a good future through this.

YOU ARE NOT TAKING ANY FEES, HOW TO COVER EXPENSES?

We are keeping automated system to reduce workers. Our target is get more customers as possible. After we have enough members we will get from listing fees from coin creators.

Less human workers is a bad sign in terms of service quality IMO. I'm actually seeing it on their website with all the nasty mass of watermarks and broken English (or it could just be a sign to stay away-- most scams have that as well)

Listing fees as the main source of income or worst solely is very unstable unless they're gonna drop all their standards and list any coin as long as the devs can pay. But first, they need decent users for that, looking at the volume and the number of coins listed, they're still at the starting point. Non-established exchanges have higher chances of running away.

I will try it with small amount than write up here.

alright. but if I were you, I wouldn't count on it, it doesn't guarantee anything. Still, trade what you can afford to lose.

Actually I am not doing huge amount of trade. The %1 fee is too much for given service. So I cant get arbitrage revenues.  The %1 even %0.5 percent is important to daily traders. The MtGox is collapsed like binance nowadays. Remember Binance also hacked months ago.
I dont like localbitcoins new tiered kyc verification.

I will try it with small amount than write up here.

Keep secure your private keys Smiley

Why do not ask him to respond to this topic? Or give you logical answers to some questions?
Can s/he risk his reputation to make you try that site?
Even if you try that site and you are not scammed, the problem will still exist and they may be selective scammers "wait until you deposit large sums."
I don't think you would risk your entire capital in order to save some fees?
