Bro if the opportunity presents they will by btc at a premium and come to you exchange. People that think they can trade will take the 10% loss for a margin oppurtunity.
PS I love kraken and Jesse

I'm happy to see another litecoin exchange, i think that when/if gox implements ltc you will see a lot of people using kraken for leverage opportunities, but till then most people aren't really looking for a reason to move exchanges

Very little volume, very few clients. Really no point in trading there yet. Total volume over the last 24h I believe was 2.5 coins.

Two problems right now:  no USD trading yet and illiquid market.  If you want to help out, put a few small orders up.  We're never going to get to a huge volume if everyone waits around for a huge volume to appear before they begin trading.

Sure there's a dicussion. It's in the Service announcement section: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-krakencom-exchange-with-usd-eur-gbp-jpy-cad-btc-ltc-xrp-nmc-xdg-str-eth-290799

The problem is that they are very cautious about regulatory compliance, and they have yet to support US and Germany. The two groups that would provide a lot of liquidity. I kind of like it, cause they're usualy the first ones to be supported everywhere else. They need to know how it feels  Grin

Hence it's not that popular right now...  Wink

Why would I want a giant, terrifying, mythological octopus-thing managing my coin orders?
