20 KTK followers can buy KTK with 0.035BTC and we're fine with Bittrex. No big deal.
Just bought 18500 KTKs... 19 more needed...

I am pretty confident we will be fine. We have had some days with more volume lately.

I have no problems staking but I agree the wallet hangs on me alot. It loads a little faster then it used to but does hang at times when catching up. But it isnt so bad that i cant deal with it but others might think otherwise.

Man that sucks I just now found out about KTK being potentially de-listed from Bittrex on the 29th Sad
The guys over at Bittrex are ok though, if we show them community support by tweeting and maybe posting on their thread- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-potential-markets-de-listed-from-bittrex-635824
they'll give us more time. Also, dev, if you think the marketplace is gonna be ready in the next couple of weeks or so, you could get in touch with them and let them know about it.
You don't need to ask them anything. They said "It may be removed on Aug 29th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC."
So just 0.7 BTC is needed for 23-29 August to stay there. So far we had 0.45 BTC, so we just need 0.25 BTC volume until 29th.

I've not seen any staking problems on my end. And the current wallet update had no code changes related to staking. Do you have many small blocks for each address?

But agree with the hanging, while it's syncing it won't respond. I've not had a chance yet to test, although think it's related to the hardcoded nodes.

For now I still have plenty chunks of 1000ktk and more with 25k and more confirmations - it hasn't happened before to wait that long to get new coins minted.
Also interestingly, my weight is almost twice as big as the weight of the network: 548k vs. 363k.
I remember this was the problem at the very start of the network, but now this shouldn't be an issue.

The irc wasnt very busy last time I checked but its worth a shot for sure.
yep, irc is dead quiet for quite a long now. It may be the way to go.

Few further observations regarding the newest version of the wallet:
- loading of the wallet has improved a lot - now it loads much quicker than the older version.
- once loaded, it runs much slower than the older version and often hangs (not responding), especially if run in parallel with other wallets. I have set of five, six wallets that I run in parallel (for more than two months now) and now KTK wallet is clearly the worst one of all. And it was second best before the update.
- staking works much worse than before, at least for me (many big chunks having more than 10k confirmations). I am regrouping my chunks of coins about every two weeks, but now with this new wallet I get much less coins than before and less regularly although I have top 20 holdings, so there is no problem with having too few coins, neither with their age.

Someone needs to take the resigns of the community do free give aways and contests for KTK. I have even stated I will donate to this pot but i need someone else to run it for now.
@tom14cat14
Sorry pal, I've been busy recently. As I said before, I will do the contest. So can you please tell the procedure here, so the community can discuss about the details?

Really dealers choice. AKA you can choose and I will donate KTK to it. One of the more successful ones I have had is GO to the IRC and randomly pick winners from people that are active. If you join my ##firecoin and I can show you a little more. We had a script that picked on its own but it is disabled right now. All I did was go into troll boxes and post here that we were giving away free coins in the IRC. The first day I did it for 11 hours. (A little too long)

Seems good to me.

What do other members think? Do you want to have this for KTK?

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Aug 29th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC.

let's dump

First of all, why would a KTK supporter come here and say "Let's dump"? To induce panic sell, so he can sell his coins cheaper? Or he wants to buy cheaper? Which one?

Secondly, achieving 0.1 BTC per day for 7 days is easy. We have 0.44 BTC for today, so just 0.26 for the next 6 days. So, I can guarantee that KTK won't be delisted.
