I don't mind buying on an exchange, that's not the point. I did read the OP and couldn't find anything remarkable. I've skimmed the last few pages but couldn't find anything important. Obviously I'm not going to read the entire topic. I'm genuinely interested.
In a nutshell:
relatively low coinage, pure-PoS with reasonable interest rate level and transparent stake distribution (cheaters eliminated almost entirely in two rounds of check), reasonable development plan including Kryptomessages, further improvements still on the table, although community expressed that we don't need to incorporate all features of newest coins, just for the sake of doing it. Still very attractive prices on bittrex and strong voting support on Mintpal (KTK is currently about 80 position and rising fast).
Please also bear in mind that not every single coin can offer brand-new features and stable and reasonable development are also valuable assets.
It's almost certain that the distribution was fair and eliminated cheaters. I actually benefited from that as I was part of the second wave after 130 or so cheaters were removed from the original distribution. One of the most important things about this coin right now is the fact that the Dev isn't pushing unrealistic goals and over-hyping the coin. There's someone who posts on this thread the coins progress towards goals as well as future ones(sorry I forgot who you are) every couple days, kinda like a state of the coin address. You might wanna scan through the pages for those posts to get a better idea of the development of this coin.
Another great thing about KTK is that by this point almost every person who got the IPO just to dump has done so by now. The price is right and you really don't have to worry about it dumping to zero because of people who signed up and never had any other interest in the coin but a quick cash grab. .I see many positive points about KTK
1. DEV is active with latest updates.
2. Distribution was made as fair as possible.
3. Strong community support.
4. We got rid of many early dumpers.
