I don't think it is necessary to pass KYC for Bounty & Airdrop programs. Actually it is  not a good practice.

Since i started doing bounties, i mostly did airdrops sometime last year during the blaring airdrop period and i got lucky with one. Then i stopped and when i was doing it, i never did kyc for any of it. The only time i have done KYC was during some of my bounties which i know the project is worth it. Exposing our documents most times can be harmful especially during airdrops as we have no idea for the airdrop holds any water or they are on the look out for personal Datas to sell in the open data market. Everyone out there, needs to be careful.

KYC for bounty and airdrop is actually very risky because the data and privacy you have given to others, you better avoid to like it because it can make you get a very high risk. if you want to use KYC it seems bounty better than a terrible airdrop.

So I passed the verification in the project that was really worth it so it's not necessary to be afraid of it now it has become very common, but it's not always easy to trust because it can be scammers!

Did you ever pass KYC for an airdrop token? I am strictly avoiding that, because the amounts to be airdropped are mostly too low. Or did some of you already pass KYC for an airdrop that was worth it?

Personally, I try to avoid the bounty of companies that need to pass KYC. I participate only in those companies that I consider promising and only in them can I agree to the passage of KYC.

i know KYC is necessary to avoid cheating or multiple accounts and there was several bounty and airdrop which is KYC required to get the tokens currently and some of my friends had try it but i personally still fear to participate bounty with KYC because if those bounty program turn out to scam then i fear they will abusing my personal data and until now i always be skipped bounty or airdrop program with KYC required

I do not like this procedure, provide data only in the bounty. For airdrop not bother

This is really bad. I try to skip such request. I think that many of airdrop just are collecting your data

I never give my personal data when registering airdrop that requires KYC verification...
Only dummy people who want give their personal data just for penny...
Airdrop should be FREE and SIMPLE. We don't require to pass KYC verification for signup...

Except for Bounties, I don't mind to give my personal data to claim my bounty reward because is for avoiding cheaters who using our data to cheating bounties...

I am agree with you. Providing your KYC to some simple very low profits airdrops is not a smart way to protect your wallet and tokens from being stolen, as the reward for such risk is too small.

I have not yet come across this and do not really want to. In general, I do not understand why this is needed in the crypto currency, this violates the principle of anonymity

KYC for bounty or airdrop is not needed at all.  I think project like to request for this in order to legitimise their project and make it look like they have your information ready for any relevant authority asking for it.  Your information should not be giving out any how that is the reason many people post fake info for KYC.

I have not participated in airdrops that require KYC only bounties. For me, I'm never  against KYC for bounty campaigns because this will eliminate those bounty participants that have multiple accounts.

For I have never done for KYC due me for following the airdrop hasn't ever come across there is a KYC. And suppose there are I would not necessarily want to do so because a great many considerations such as these would not necessarily be KYC in believe. We know that the KYC fact for investors. And if this is used for the retrieval of gifts too risky.

The payment for kyc should be a good step. Many bitcointalk players have many accounts, and they will get a lot of money maliciously.

Yeah sure I have passed KYC for some few airdrops not just anyhow airdrop, their are some strong projects you know so well that their project are good and they happened to sold out in pre-sale or private so you won't have option than to join the kyc

I personally also want to avoid this KYC. I have never participated in a campaign in which it must provide information for KYC. In my opinion, this dispel most people, that wants to invest.  Smiley

KYC is also alarming especially if you are a bounty hunter. As far as I'm concerned, only investors are required to provide KYC to avoid fraudsters. But if bounty participants are required, they may use your personal identity for scams and deceive others.
