Zidane has won 8 trophies in 2 years, no one has done better than him!

Real Madrid actually has a very high average age, has also invested little for new players and indeed has sold very strong players like Morata and James Rodriguez.
For me Zidane deserves to be the coach of Real Madrid at least for 1 other season with 2-3 new top players.

Even though Morata is currently playing to his potential at Chelsea, I still think that Zidane selling him was a big mistake and the James Rodriguez deal is a loan rather than Bayern Munich buying him outright and one can say that Zidane has an eye for the young talents.

Totally agree, Zidane is clearly a great coach not to mention one of the greatest players EVER. I bet players love to play for him. Real’s problem is most of their main players are now in their 30’s, no coach can defy age.

I agree with you, that Zidane actually requires new young players to be able to enliven the competition in a competition. Regeneration is needed in a team because a team will not be able to continue to be the players who are in the squad to become the core team. Young players can give new colors to the game of a team and obviously, Zidane needs it.

I totally agree with you, that they would end trophyless this season. Their performance this season has seriously blown hot and cold and it is shocking. Regularly, two teams usually dominate the La Liga, with a third team just trying to sneak around the corner. But now we have Barcelona just running away with the title, it looks like it was never a competition this season for Barca. I think Real Madrid have become overly complacent this season as a result of their (Zidane's) achievements in the previous two seasons. This is seriously affecting them. I wonder if he would be sacked if things go terrible this season, and by the looks of things, things will go terrible.

In my opinion new coach wouldn't help much at this stage of the season. It is already lost and most of the players have run into some kind of mediocrity. Zidane has judged that he doesn't need big new signings in the last 2 years and they don't have a plan B. Plan B should have been their young players but they under performing with the rest of the team. It is unbelievable that Real didn't bring at least one big name during winter transfer window in order to push some new blood and some competition in the team. Especially at striker place as a competition mainly for Benzema.

I also have the same opinion in this regard. Changing coach at this time is not a good thing because Zidane has spent a lot of time with this team and he is well aware about every thick and thin of this team now, so changing Zidane can prove much more valueless. Also Zidane is one of the legendary player in the football history so he can easily tackle the situations than other coaches because he also had been under the coaching of many great coaches of football. But from the performance of R.M, I think not every great player is a great coach.

I also get the same news about the move Zidane to Chelsea. Maybe the rumors are caused because Conte is ready to accept the decision of Chelsea management if indeed he contracts himself with Chelsea should be terminated. But, I am still optimistic that Zidane can still award a title for Real Madrid this season and one of his chances is to bring UCL trophies this year even if judging from the current team's performance it is very difficult to get that. However, Zidane should be able to prove it and the proof may extend his contract with Real Madrid.

At this point in the season I think it's pretty clear that Barca is going to win the La Liga. As a Real fan I'm really disappointed with this season, but what can you do every team has bad seasons. At least the future with real is bright with players like Marco Asensio, Dani Ceballos and tbh Casilla is a great goalkeeper. Hala Madrid!

But, it may need a miracle for them because Barcelona will not remain silent to continue to be pressured by its rivals so that Barcelona will continue to win every game and it will be a challenge for its rival teams and expect Barcelona to suffer in a few games in the future. No matter how small a mistake Barcelona will surely be exploited by some teams who now continue to pursue Barcelona at the top of La Liga standings.

true Real Madrid can still have a shot on LaLiga title but it's not gonna happen as their form have taken a free fall and it's obvious that they heavily relaying on Cristiano who is this season no where to be found and I think that if Benzema leaves at the end of the season Ronaldo will follow because he have been helping him a lot and he is the reason of at least half Ronaldo goals in Madrid because Benzema attracts defenders to create space for Ronaldo also most of the time he leaves the cross for Ronaldo or try to give him the ball probably that is why Morata decided to leave because he didn't want to play that role Benzema doing.

Where would Ronaldo go? Which teams have been shopping for him?
I do agree though.
If most of his team mates in which he has become accustom to playing with all the sudden decide they want to leave and actually start too,
he will fold in and follow them so he can be on a winning team.

Sevilla got thrashed also, it's really a sad turn of events from their successful runs in Europa League (yes, I still whimper from the Liverpool final defeat, very fresh in memory). I really hope they somehow pip 4th place for a CL league spot... though am not sure I could consider that happening at the expense of Real Madrid. It's a huge sign of the times perhaps? Or just a blip as happened with Chelsea only two seasons ago. It can get really depressing actually to see teams like Deportivo fighting relegation, when we can remember all the entertainment they gave us just not so long ago.

Man, I remember the old Deportivo (Súper Depor) during the 90s / early 2000s, I think they played in the Champions League for 4 or 5 years in a row, won the league title once (they were used to finish in 2nd place or 3rd place), won copa del rey, spanish super sup...scary team, those were the days.
