Yes, there is a possibility for Barcelona to catch Real Madrid, but it is very unlikely that Barcelona can prevent Real Madrid from becoming champions this season. Indeed, there are still 9 matches remaining where these two teams could lose points and it is possible that either of them will be able to appear consistent by sweeping all matches and winning. In my opinion, Real Madrid has a bigger chance of becoming champion because they have shown how consistent they are in Laliga this season.

Indeed, Barcelona has shown quite good changes recently because they have been able to occupy 2nd place. Yes, their next target is to reduce the points gap with Real Madrid and one of their hopes is of course to see Real Madrid fail in the upcoming match. Xavi certainly wants to repeat last season success story even though it looks quite difficult but I think they still have a chance to do it.

Real Madrid have eyes on major titles this season, always itching for the big winnings. Real Madrid have been fighting lately for the La Liga title and they're the top one team to win it based on the challenges they've come acrossed this season. Carlo Ancelotti is an experience coach and knows how to tackle down challenges every time he faces them, he's one of the strong pillars of the team and this is one of the major reasons to hits harder to see why the team starts to progress in sectors and improvements on performance.

Barca vs Las Palmas is heavily tilted in favor of the home team. It would not be surprising if Xavi and his team got 3 more points to continue chasing Real Madrid on the rankings. Since coach Xavi's announcement that he would leave Barca at the end of this season, this team has improved significantly. In addition to overcoming Napoli and winning tickets to the quarterfinals of the Champions League, Barca is also creating an 8-match unbeaten streak in La Liga.

After the national team gathering, Barca's injury list has not yet been cleared of any names. Therefore, I still believe Robert Lewandowski and Yamal will be healthy and ready to play from the beginning of the match. This is quite good for Cadiz. and for Granada, it looks like they will have to leave La Liga for next season. It's not just the number of points, but their performance is not as strong as it is to compete with clubs in La Liga.

The results of the match have been obtained and indeed Cadiz is slightly superior in this match where they get a 1-goal victory which is quite good actually but still cannot bring them out of the current relegation zone.
This seems to be something that can be said to be reasonable even though at first I doubted them but by looking at their performance where the possession of the ball and the opportunities they have it seems that they are very ambitious in this match which makes them win and get 3 points.

Granada's resistance is actually not too bad but the conditions of Cadiz's advantage of playing at home make this a good encouragement for them which makes the match profitable and with this result at least they can get closer to some of the clubs above them even though some other clubs still have 1 match because they have not competed.

Regarding Barcelona chances of becoming a competitor again in the hunt for trophies this season, I think Xavi odds are very low and we know that Madrid is still very consistent. It is true that mathematically Barcelona still has a chance, because there are still 9 matches remaining. But it is not certain that Madrid will lost a lot of points and it is also not certain that Barcelona themselves will be able to consistently sweep all future matches.

With these facts, it makes sense that Barcelona will focus more on competing in the Champions League, and will continue to try to stabilize its performance in La Liga so that it can finish in runnerup position. Meanwhile, Girona, who is currently 2 points adrift of Barcelona, will find it very difficult to climb back up the rankings and overtake Barcelona again, considering that they are running out of steam towards the end of the season, in this case the Blaugrana have a slight advantage.

Even so, what Girona has shown this season is worthy of appreciation, they have developed much better than the previous season. Apart from that, Girona reputation has made us quite entertained with the various surprises they have been able to create, such as beating Barcelona and ATM in the first half of the season yesterday. What is clear is that Girona can definitely finish in the top four of the standings and secure a ticket to appear in the Champions League next season.

Barcelona must win tomorrow's match. Las Palmas is a weak team, and their away performance is not very encouraging. Las Palmas, which couldn't win in the last 5 matches, lost 5-0 to Atletico if you remember. They may suffer a similar defeat this time too. I took a look at the commentators and they were expecting a different Barcelona victory. Yamal and Lewandowski may start as sub for rotation, but still Barca's current squad is enough to get a different goal win.

Form always determines the success of any squad. Real Madrid is in good condition this season, and there is not much doubt that they will win the La Liga, since I do not believe Barcelona will be able to compete with them. Real Madrid is already eight points ahead of Barcelona, and they defeated Barcelona in the first leg. With Real Madrid's current form and the points gap they already have, I don't think the El Clasico will determine whether Barcelona can succeed or not, but they should be able to close the gap on Madrid due to their inconsistent play.

They started blaming Xavi for the bad results they got and they were saying Xavi is guilty for the bad performance they had. However, Xavi and his team got improved after that, especially after beating Napoli in the Champions League. But I think Barcelona is trying to find another coach for the next season.
But They also tried to make Xavi stay in the team. In between Barcelona and Las Palmas, Xavi started talking about it in the conference before the match and he said, he was thankful to Deco and the other people on the team but he made his decision to leave Barcelona and he is not going to change it.

 

This season is one season Barcelona fans wants to forget in a hurry as this season have been one of their down seasons coupled with the financial issues of the club.  Club’s finances is always a big worry especially as it’s not going to help the club be able to get the proper signings they need. This is one challenge the club has faced this season and as such have had to manage with the injured players and the available players.

 Managing with both sets of players seems to be real tough and this can be troublesome especially for the coach. And i feel because of the trouble and all Xavi decided to depart the club at the end of the season. The win against Mallorca was a boost for them especially as they head into the UCL game against Napoli. You can see how they’ve managed to fight all hard with their injury crisis.

The best thing for Barcelona was just endurance whilst finding quick means out of the situation so they'd be back to acquiring the best guys in the game. Well in as much as they were battled with that magnitude of setback as a team, the Spanish side still strived towards gaining good game results which also fueled their progress and performances in competitions to come.

 I won't say they did extremely well so far in the endeavors this season as definitely they had times of good news and good results and also times where they fell short of victory which was a negative effect to their journey so far this season. There's still a a few weeks left to the end of the season, but sadly I doubt that they can still make a wholesome difference, as Real Madrid and Girona would definitely give them a difficult time, they can also work towards staying in good shape for the UCL tournament games too and we'd see how good, well and far they'd go as weeks goes by.

By looking at the opponents that Madrid will face, it seems that their chance to continue to be consistent and regain the trophy even before the season ends is still very possible because by looking at the schedule for the rest of the season which will soon end Madri is clearly benefited where they will have 5 home and 4 away matches against clubs that are still far from their level except El Clasico and several dark horse clubs that are currently pursuing Europa League positions and even the Champions League for Bilbao.

I think taking this into account does not rule out the possibility that Madrid can continue to get 3 points even during El Clasico, it's just that this needs other considerations when the condition of the players who continue to be suspended can be a problem.

Currently apart from La Liga, Madrid still have a big job where they have to conquer Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals so surely the focus will be more on the Champions League first than La Liga even though this they will definitely still try to get points in La Liga but the main focus is Manchester City which must be the target for them to beat.

Real Madrid is playing very well this season and they were also able to bring in new players when they out of a sudden had to deal with injuries. Both Courtois and Vinicius Junior are key players ad while they found a great solution for Courtois, which was hard enough, it was difficult to do the same for Vinicius Junior when he was injured. But he is back and living up to his full potential. Barcelona won't get close to them, but to put it in a nutshell whether there is still a chance for the title race to become close, it will all be about matchday 32. The clasico will decide whether there is going to be some fighting until the end.

Although for now there is still El Clasico and some dark horse clubs such as Bilbao, Betis and Sociedad that Madrid will face but in my opinion in this case it is still possible to say that Madrid will still be unstoppable and regain the trophy previously taken by Barcelona last season.
The current situation in terms of points Madrid is still 8 points ahead of its competitor Barcelona and relying on El Clasico to get points for Barcelona (if Barcelona wins) then I don't think it will change the fact that Madrid remains at the top because it only narrows the gap in terms of points margin, not to make the situation a real competition for the trophy.

We're still nine games away from the end of the season but to say that Madrid are now La Liga champions is an understatement because it's possible that something like that could happen.

I don't think at this point turning back is something that will be seen in real Madrid agenda, they are definitely going to make sure to win the la Liga this season without stressing really much as what their real stress would be on now would be with the champions league as that's the toughest of the league they will have to battle the rest of the season because as usual the competition back there is much though than that in the la Liga.

Currently Madrid isn't under much pressure in the la Liga to probably win the trophy as they are already comfortably seated at the top of the table but then they would most likely get to the point where they will have most of their attention focused on the champions league because it very likely they are winning the la Liga this season already and for any other team in the la Liga to at this point be able to displaced tham, it will mean they will have to suffer a series of losses which they are definitely not going to give in to such at This time of the season when they are close to the trophy.

Madrid would have had Barcelona contending with them for the la Liga title but somehow it happens that Barcelona was no longer strong enough to continue the race and they were left behind and even the team that are now at the second position which was supposed to be that of Barcelona are currently way behind Madrid too so it's more like it's most definitely going to be a trophy for Madrid this season.

Actually, Real Madrid has has a strong performance this season since they were able to beat some of the teams in their previous matches. Why I'm having so much hope for Barcelona is that I know it can be possibly that Real Madrid can win all their of their remaining matches they have to play, is either they lose to some of the teams or draw, and from there they will begin to lose down their points, which will give Barcelona hope to make sure they also perform well in their coming match and dominate the match for them to receive all three points to make their point increase.
Because even though it is too late for them to catch up to Real Madrid, from my own view, if they try to put in efforts and improve their performance, they will still make it and achieve their goal against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid this season has been more consistent than Barcelona, so in my opinion it is impossible for Barcelona to catch points from Madrid even though there are still many games left this season. I think Barcelona's current concentration will focus on fighting PSG in the UCL League. What's interesting about Girona's recent performance is that Girona has appeared very surprising in his first 22 matches in La Liga this season. In fact, in those 22 matches, Girona only lost once. However, in the last 7 matches, Girona seemed to have run out of stamina or lost concentration because in those seven matches, Girona was only able to win the match twice. In the remaining matches, Girona drew with Sociedad, lost to Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Real Mallorca, and finally Getafe.

Girona's next match is against Real Betis, of course this match is quite important for them. The reason is, if they lose again in this match, it could be said that Girona will decline even further and might finish in fourth place until the end of the season or could even be out of the UCL league zone.

The two teams are relegation teams but Cadiz the home team have the better chance to somehow escape being relegated this season, this is the exact reason why they need to win this game where they have the home advantage. They could not score in the first half, but have scored an important goal in this second which they just have to hold on to awaiting and expecting Celta Vigo to loose on Sunday which can happen.

Barcelona has always had luck against Athletico Madrid; they knew their weak point last season and defeated them again this season. I believe Athletico Madrid will face Dortmund rather than PSG, and I will give Athletico Madrid hope in that game because Dortmund is not performing well this season and Athletico Madrid has many experienced players who know how to defeat big clubs on occasion. They overcame Real Madrid in the second leg of the league, and I thought they may get the opportunity to win the laliga trophy, but sadly, they refuse to play well and lead the league, but I simply know they will certainly get the opportunity and qualify to the next round to UCL, even Girona. they have fail to do well anymore since Madrid beat them in the second leg of the league and make Barcelona top them in the league table.

The score at half time is still 0-0 but even so, at least the home team Cadiz really has good dominance in this match and by having good statistics in the first half like this it is feasible for Cadiz to get full points. But yes, there is still a second half and anything can still happen, because although Cadiz managed to dominate the match in the first half, but at least in the second half it is possible that Granada can improve the gameplay for the better.

Because after all, basically these two teams are also both struggling to get out of the relegation zone, although it is unlikely that they will avoid the relegation zone. But yes, at least if they continue to make great efforts then maybe one of them will get out of the relegation zone. But that's just a prediction at the moment, although in reality I personally don't believe they will make it out of the relegation zone at all, because the teams right above the relegation zone also have better quality to stay in La Liga.

I'm sure we all know that La Liga belongs to Barcelona when Madrid was inconsistent last season, so Barcelona maintained its consistency until the end of the season and won the title last season, likewise this season it looks like it will belong to Madrid, because they are very consistent in La Liga. as well as in the UCL until now, so they really maintain their performance to be able to perform better in every match and get good results, Madrid seems to be working hard for the title this season.

Whether it's a title in the domestic league or in the UCL, it seems that Madrid is chasing one or both, but in the remaining matches until the end of the season it seems difficult for Madrid to make consecutive mistakes that cost them and let Barcelona catch up on the points difference and overtake them, it seems that Barcelona will have to ready and open-minded if in the end Madrid will win the La Liga title this season, but these two teams Barcelona and Madrid also still have hope of winning a title other than La Liga, namely the UCL because as we also know, both of them are clubs full of surprises and also consistent.
